ICE agents, Farmington police arrest deported felon

FARMINGTON — Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested a Mexican citizen on Thursday in Farmington.

The agents had help from the Farmington Police Department.

According to an ICE press release, Humberto Oros was arrested at 635 E. Main St. in Farmington on a warrant for re-entry after he was deported following an aggravated felony conviction.

Oros was convicted for the sale of cocaine on May 7, 1999, in the District Court of Stanton County in Kansas.
The press release states Oros was deported on April 7, 2000, and he claimed to have re-entered the country in 2003.
