U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Alan Bersin, who oversees both the Customs Service and the Border Patrol, says the United States needs to undertake a “paradigm shiftâ€

This shift, Bersin explained in a speech last Thursday at the Migration Policy Institute in Washington, D.C., would include both a “road to citizenshipâ€

President Barack Obama appointed Bersin to oversee U.S. border security in March. Bersin, a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard who also won a Rhodes Scholarship to study at Oxford and a Yale law degree, formerly served as secretary of education for the state of California and as chairman of the San Diego Regional Airport Authority.

Another ivory tower progressive who believes illegal invaders are simply doing the "jobs Americans will not do." Why are all those who are in charge ofd efending this country against foreign invaders in this administration, going around advocating and lobbying on their behalf of those they are supposed to be keeping out?

I'm presuming he means Mexicans can work in the U.S. at will but Americans cannot work in Mexico.

This guy is redculous there are a lot of americans out of work and this guys wants to give more jobs away legally I wish I could give his job away let him worry where his next meal is going to come from. To hell with these people trying to tell us what is right! They don't listen to the people their supposed to represent in the first place.
