We don't live in Judy's utopia where everything is as she imagines it. The backlog of cases didn't all, not even most, happen during the Trump presidency. It's difficult to make real progress when our border is as porous as it is. You can whine all you want about the DOJ, but they'll just continue plugging away as best they can with the resources made available to them. What you really should be whining about is our wide-open border that allows illegals to enter with ease and our loophole filled asylum laws that constrain the DOJ and forces the department to follow specific guidelines as delineated by law.

DOJ is the reason not much gets done.

Sure they are. The DOJ is doing everything that can be done within the law. Actually, AG Sessions has changed a lot of the former policies to go as far to the edge as he can while still keeping things lawful. Either you support the rule of law or you don't. Are you one of those folks that advocate for picking and choosing the laws you think we should adhere to?

DOJ does whatever it chooses to do with its resources. I'm not aware of any law that prevents DOJ from reassigning personnel resources to catch up on its massive deportation back-log.
