UK: Muslim writer condemns ‘French police’s brutal senseless murder of the Muslim’ who beheaded man on street

OCT 18, 2020 9:00 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER 29 COMMENTS

Now he says he was being “sarcastic.” All right. Just imagine, however, what the outcry would be if a foe of jihad violence and Sharia oppression of women actually justified the killing of one of those largely fictional “far right” terrorists. Siding with jihadis and even jihad murderers, however, is increasingly acceptable among the Western intelligentsia. Dana Nawzar Jaf is unlikely to suffer any consequences for this endorsement of the Sharia death penalty for blasphemy other than a few angry tweets.
Note also how he drags the Islamic supremacists’ ever-present bogeymen, the Jews, into this. His argument essentially boils down to saying that students should not be exposed to material they find offensive. That’s bad enough in itself, as all students should be challenged to consider their assumptions and become able to defend them, or allowed to change their views if they discover what they held was false. But the Holocaust denial analogy breaks down on the fact that Holocaust denial is a monstrous falsehood, while Muhammad cartoons are neither true or false, but expressions of the freedom of expression, which is the foundation of any free society. There is nothing wrong, either, with students learning in school why Holocaust denial is false, with all the evidence presented, just as they should also learn why the freedom of speech is so important.

“Fury as New Statesman writer condemns ‘brutal police murder’ of Islamist terrorist who beheaded teacher outside French school,” by Abul Taher, Mail On Sunday, October 18, 2020:
A British-based writer sparked outrage last night by condemning French police for shooting dead the armed Islamist terrorist who beheaded teacher Samuel Paty.
Dana Nawzar Jaf – a former Chevening Scholar at Durham University – questioned the police’s decision to kill Chechen fanatic Aboulakh Anzorov, fearing the terrorist would attack them or others.
Mr Jaf, who describes himself as a Kurdish activist, had taken to Twitter, posting: ‘I fully condemn French police’s brutal senseless murder of the Muslim suspect last night.
‘Macron and his security apparatus should explain to the public what was the need for the use of the disproportionate force against someone suspected of a knife crime. France is in crisis.’
Mr Jaf – an occasional writer for the Left-leaning New Statesman magazine, did not condemn the beheading itself….
Last night, Mr Jaf, who is believed to have arrived in Britain as an exchange student from Iraq in 2009, said: ‘That was not meant to be a factual statement about the police. It’s meant to be a sarcastic comment towards Macron who is the number one fueller of terrorism.’

Muslim Beheads Man on French Street, and Here We Go Again

OCT 19, 2020 7:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER 15 COMMENTS

Once again we get the same mind-numbing denial and willful ignorance we always see after jihad attacks. My latest in FrontPage:
It happened again on Friday: a Muslim migrant from Chechnya, screaming “Allahu akbar,” beheaded a schoolteacher, Samuel Paty, on a street in a Paris suburb for the crime of showing cartoons of Muhammad to his students. The response to this gruesome jihad murder has been as predictable, and dreary, and drearily predictable, as one might expect.
In response to the murder, French President Emmanuel Macron said: “This battle is ours and it is existential. They will not pass. Obscurantism and the violence that goes with it will not win. They will not divide us. That’s what they seek and we must stand together.”
This sounds great on the first hearing. That’s the idea. But in reality, “They will not divide us” is a statement that is designed to reassure Muslims in France. Macron is saying that he will do nothing to “divide” the supposedly happily united French people. What would “divide” them? Well, something like scrutinizing the Islamic death penalty for blasphemy and challenging Muslim leaders in France to repudiate it explicitly and declare their support for the freedom of speech, and to demonstrate their sincerity by instituting programs in mosques and Islamic schools in France to teach against Sharia blasphemy laws and emphasize the importance of the freedom of speech. That would “divide us.” Macron is saying it won’t happen, as expected.
Meanwhile, according to the Telegraph, “Jean-Luc Mélenchon, head of the far-Left party, Unbowed France, said: ‘Horrible crime in Conflans! In fact, the assassin takes himself for the god that he claims he follows. He is sullying religion. And he is inflicting on us all the hell of having to live with murderers like him.’”
Jean-Luc Mélenchon, like so many non-Muslims who assure us that Islam is the most peaceful, benign and cuddly of religions, clearly has no clue about what Islam actually teaches.
Islam mandates death for non-Muslim subjects of the Islamic state who mention “something impermissible about Allah, the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), or Islam” (‘Umdat al-Salik, o11.10), and such laws are based upon passages in the Hadith and Sira in which Muhammad orders the murders of people who have insulted him.
These include Abu Afak, who was over one hundred years old, and the poetess Asma bint Marwan. Abu Afak was killed in his sleep, in response to Muhammad’s question, “Who will avenge me on this scoundrel?” Similarly, Muhammad on another occasion cried out, “Will no one rid me of this daughter of Marwan?” One of his followers, Umayr ibn Adi, went to her house that night, where he found her sleeping next to her children. The youngest, a nursing babe, was in her arms. But that didn’t stop Umayr from murdering her and the baby as well. Muhammad commended him: “You have done a great service to Allah and His Messenger, Umayr!” (Ibn Ishaq, 674-676)
Then there was Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf. Muhammad asked: “Who is willing to kill Ka’b bin Al-Ashraf who has hurt Allah and His Apostle?” One of the Muslims, Muhammad bin Maslama, answered, “O Allah’s Apostle! Would you like that I kill him?” When Muhammad said that he would, Muhammad bin Maslama said, “Then allow me to say a (false) thing (i.e. to deceive Kab).” Muhammad responded: “You may say it.” Muhammad bin Maslama duly lied to Ka’b, luring him into his trap, and murdered him. (Sahih Bukhari, volume 5, book 59, number 369)
Likewise, the popular fatwa website Islam QA used to call for death for blasphemers, using both Qur’an and Hadith to make its argument, although now it has removed this. “The scholars are unanimously agreed,” the site explained, “that a Muslim who insults the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) becomes a kaafir [unbeliever] and an apostate who is to be executed. This consensus was narrated by more than one of the scholars, such as Imaam Ishaaq ibn Raahawayh, Ibn al-Mundhir, al-Qaadi ‘Iyaad, al-Khattaabi and others.”
In light of all that, what this migrant did Friday is not in the least out of the ordinary, or unexpected.
When is France, and when is the West in general, going to recognize the danger that mass Muslim migration without any attempt at assimilation poses for the freedom of speech and other aspects of a free society? Note that Paty invited Muslim students to leave the room before showing the Muhammad cartoons. He was beheaded anyway. His crime, as far as his attacker was concerned, was daring to show the cartoons at all, even if the tender eyes of Muslim students were not assaulted by this blasphemy. The Islamic supremacist demand is that all people, Muslim and non-Muslim, in non-Muslim as well as in Muslim countries, bow to Islamic law.
The West is eventually going to have to decide whether it is going to do so, or defend free society. So far it has gotten along by pretending that the conflict doesn’t exist and that the showdown will never come. Samuel Paty is dead today because of that pretense. At a certain point, France is going to have to choose between the freedom of expression and Sharia blasphemy laws. Which it will choose is anyone’s guess, but in Sweden police are already hunting down people who burned the Qur’an, and the social media giants are increasingly open about their silencing of all dissidents from their hard-Left agenda, so the overall prognosis for free societies is not good.

France: Muslim who beheaded man over Muhammad cartoons arrived in country when he was six to seek asylum

OCT 19, 2020 5:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER 18 COMMENTS

His uncle says, “If he were still alive, I would have asked him: ‘Why did you do that? What was going on your head?’ He must have been influenced by someone.'”
Well, yes, he must have been. He has apparently been in France since he was six. Has his mosque been investigated? Do authorities know what is taught there? Are authorities aware of what are the prevailing attitudes and assumptions in the community where he lived? Why not?

“Thousands rally in Paris in protest at murder of teacher Samuel Paty by refugee Islamist terrorist, 18, who FILMED moment he beheaded him for showing pupils cartoons of Prophet Mohammed and then posted grisly clip online,” by Jack Newman, Jack Wright, Peter Allen and Chris Jewers, Mailonline, October 19, 2020:
The French prime minister joined thousands of demonstrators on Sunday rallying in tribute to a history teacher who was brutally beheaded at a school near Paris for showing cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed to his class.
Samuel Paty, 47, was stabbed to death and beheaded by Aboulakh Anzorov, 18, in a northern suburb of the French capital on Friday afternoon….
The killer’s uncle told French television: ‘He was a child. He was only 18. If he were still alive, I would have asked him: ‘Why did you do that? What was going on your head?’ He must have been influenced by someone.’
Meanwhile the prosecutor leading the investigation, Jean-François Ricard, said that the suspect, who had been granted a 10-year residency as a refugee in March and was not known to intelligence services, had been armed with a knife and an airsoft gun, which fires plastic pellets.
The Russian embassy in Paris said Anzorov’s family arrived in France from Chechnya when he was six to seek asylum….

They "groom" them younger than SIX years old to hate and commit terrorist acts against infidels.

These people hate each other, they hate themselves, they HATE our way of life.

Get them OFF our soil, including their youngsters! They are not "children", they are a living breathing danger to us all and story after story of these violent vermin murdering people, pets, and raping women and children are PROOF of it.

Their elders, their parents, their cousins, Uncles, the whole family tree is mired in decades and generations of this barbaric terrorism.

France: Islamic preacher issued death fatwa against teacher who was beheaded for showing Muhammad cartoons

OCT 19, 2020 12:00 PM BY ROBERT SPENCER 28 COMMENTS

French Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin said police raids were meant to send the message that “enemies of the Republic” would not enjoy “a minute’s respite.”
Imagine how embarrassed Darmanin will be when he discovers that the death penalty for blasphemy is not “extremist,” but is part of mainstream Islam.

“Outraged parent and Islamic preacher ‘issued fatwa’ against beheaded teacher for showing pupils Prophet Mohammed cartoons, minister says as police raid dozens of ‘extremists’ homes,'” by Tim Stickings and Peter Allen, MailOnline, October 19, 2020:
The French school teacher beheaded in an Islamist terror attack on Friday had a ‘fatwa’ launched against him before he was killed, France’s interior minister said today.
Gerald Darmanin said an arrested preacher and a father who complained about the teacher’s use of Prophet Mohammed cartoons had ‘clearly launched a fatwa’, or Islamic religious ruling, against teacher Samuel Paty.
French police today raided the homes of dozens of suspected militants in a crackdown which Darmanin said was intended to send a message that ‘enemies of the Republic’ will not enjoy ‘a minute’s respite’.
Darmanin told Europe 1 radio that police operations were continuing against ‘dozens of individuals’ after 11 people were arrested over the weekend and Emmanuel Macron vowed new measures against extremism.
The father, Brahim Chnina, whose 13-year-old daughter went to Paty’s secondary school, had launched an online call for ‘mobilisation’ against the teacher and had sought his dismissal from the school over the cartoons.
Chnina had named Paty and given the school’s address in a social media post just days before the assault, which Macron labelled an Islamist terror attack.
In addition, his half-sister is known to have joined ISIS in 2014, although her current whereabouts are unknown.
Prosecutors have not said whether the attacker, 18-year-old Chechen extremist Aboulakh Anzorov, had any links to the school or acted independently upon the online outrage, but several of his relatives have been arrested.
According to Le Monde, Anzorov had tried to bribe students with hundreds of euros for information about the teacher, with a 15-year-old pupil apparently among those arrested. The boy ‘absolutely denies knowing what Anzorov was going to do,’ said an investigating source.
Darmanin said there were about 80 investigations under way into online hate speech in France and that he was looking into whether or not certain groups from the French Muslim community should be dissolved….
It has been revealed that Islamist terrorist Anzorov filmed himself killing and then beheading Paty outside the gates of his school in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine before sharing a video of the victim’s severed head to fellow ISIS supporters.
Investigators believe ‘support for ISIS and other links to extreme Islamism’ prompted Anzorov to approach the Bois-d’Aulne school with weapons including a 14-inch kitchen knife and an air pistol.
Anzorov had travelled 50 miles from his home in Evreux to get to the school, where Mr Paty taught history and geography….

Al Jazeera: Muslims in France ‘fear rising Islamophobia’ after Muslim beheads teacher over Muhammad cartoon

OCT 22, 2020 11:00 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER 50 COMMENTS

Here we go yet again. This is how this narrative, which we see after every jihad massacre, works. When Muslims murder infidels, Muslims are the victims. Any measures taken in the wake of the jihad massacre to prevent Muslims from massacring infidels in the future is a sign of “collective punishment” and “Islamophobia.” Always and in every situation, Muslims are victims, to be appeased and accommodated in every possible way, and every counterterror measure, no matter how mild, is a step toward “stigmatising and criminalising Muslim communities.” Even discussion of how jihadis use the texts and teachings of Islam to recruit peaceful Muslims and justify violence must be shut down, as it supposedly endangers innocent Muslims. Non-Muslims in the West fall for this propaganda initiative every time, which is why it keeps on being used.

“After teacher’s killing, French Muslims fear rising Islamophobia,” by Rebecca Rosman, Al Jazeera, October 22, 2020 (thanks to David):
Paris, France – The gruesome killing of a teacher by an 18-year-old suspect of Chechen origin is testing the country’s fragile relationship with its Muslim minority, with growing fears of collective punishment….
In the days after the killing, the government launched a crackdown against Muslim organisations while vigilante groups have attacked mosques; places of worship in Beziers and Bordeaux have been placed under police protection after having been threatened with violence.
Tensions between the state and France’s Muslims, the largest Muslim minority in Europe, have deepened.
They were already on a downward trend after Macron, on October 2, launched a plan against what he called “Islamist separatism” and said Islam was “in crisis” across the world.
Muslims fear Paty’s tragic death is already being weaponised to advance a government policy they worry conflates Islam with “terrorism”.
“Muslims are being targeted,” Yasser Louati, a French Muslim activist, told Al Jazeera, adding he believed Macron was “using Islamophobia to power his campaign.”
On Monday, the French government said it was strengthening its crackdown on suspected “extremists”, carrying out multiple raids and threatening a mass expulsion of more than 200 people.
But there are more surprising names on the list.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin has proposed to ban the Collective Against Islamophobia in France (CCIF), an association that tracks anti-Muslim hate crimes, in a move that more than 50 civil society groups and academics have warned against.
In an interview with French radio station Europe 1, Darmanin lambasted CCIF as an “enemy of the republic”, adding it was one of several organisations he would dissolve at Macron’s personal request.
CCIF condemned Darmanin’s language as slander, stating the government was “criminalising the fight against Islamophobia”….
But there are fears recent government actions contribute to a discourse that endangers Muslim lives.
“What is going in France at the moment is unprecedented,” activist and co-founder of CCIF, Marwan Muhammed wrote on Twitter last week. “Fundamental freedoms are at stake, as the government is focused on stigmatising and criminalising Muslim communities.”…

79% Of French Believe Islamism Has "Declared War" On Their Country; New Poll Finds

    Tue, 10/27/2020 - 05:00
Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

A new poll conducted after the beheading of a teacher in Paris has found that 79% of French people believe Islamism has “declared war” on their country.

The survey was carried out by polling firm Ifop following the jihadist murder of geography teacher Samuel Paty, who was targeted for showing pupils cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad during a lesson about freedom of expression.

The murder prompted numerous mass protest marches across the country in defense of free speech and against the Islamic takeover of France.
“87% of French people say they agree with the fact that secularism is now in danger in France, and 79% that Islamism has declared war on the nation and the Republic,” reports Ifop.
The poll also found that the political leader the French people have the most trust in when it comes to combating Islamism is Marine Le Pen.
A previous poll also found that the French are becoming increasingly hostile to allowing more immigrants to enter their country, with 64% believing migrants have a negative impact, while 60% believe welcoming them is no longer feasible due to cultural differences.
As we previously highlighted, disorder in France’s migrant dominated suburbs has become so chronic that some are calling for the military to be sent in.
France’s feared banlieues are suburbs on the edge of major cities controlled by large groups of Muslim gangs who attack police officers, fire crews and ambulance workers who venture into the area.

Earlier this year, French intellectual Eric Zemmour said the problem was so bad that the only option was to “reconquer by force.”

Over 250 French people have been killed as a result of Islamist attacks since 2015.

France: Second Muslim screaming ‘Allahu akbar’ tries to stab police in Avignon

OCT 29, 2020 8:10 AM BY ROBERT SPENCER 1 COMMENT

First the cartoons, and then Macron’s non-supine response to the beheading over the cartoons. The outrages to jihadis just keep piling up in France. This new spate of attacks will be blamed on French authorities, too.

“Second France ‘terrorist attack’: Knife-wielding man shouting ‘Allahu akbar’ killed after attacking police in Avignon,” by Gary Flockhart, The Scotsman, October 29, 2020:
A man wielding a knife has reportedly attacked a group of police officers in Avignon, southeastern France – just hours after a similar ‘terrorist attack’ in Nice left at least three people dead.
According to French media, the police officers opened fire, killing the assailant.
The Avignon attack took place at approximately 11:15 local time.
According to reports, the alleged attacker shouted, “Allahu akbar,” as he lunged at the officers.
The incident took place shortly after an attack at the basilica in the Norte-Dame area of Nice in which three people were killed by a man armed with a knife….

Muslims Around the World Want to Punish France; Where is the West’s Solidarity with the French?

OCT 30, 2020 10:00 AM BY HUGH FITZGERALD LEAVE A COMMENT

The murder of a French middle-school teacher by a Muslim fanatic would, one would have thought, led to an expression of horror worldwide, and a demand not only in France but by non-Muslims everywhere that the Muslim political leaders and clerics denounce that murder in no uncertain terms. Alas, that is not what has happened. Instead, it is the Muslim lands that are now intent on punishing France with economic boycotts. It is French visitors who are being warned to be wary in Muslim lands, lest they be attacked by Muslims “getting back” at France by attempting to murder its nationals abroad. This dangerous situation is discussed here: “France Warns Citizens to Be Cautious as Anger Seethes in Muslim World Over Cartoons,” Algemeiner, October 27, 2020:
France warned its citizens living or traveling in several Muslim-majority countries to take extra security precautions on Tuesday as anger surged over cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad….
France’s Foreign Ministry on Tuesday issued safety advice to French citizens in Indonesia, Bangladesh, Iraq and Mauritania, advising them to exercise caution. They should stay away from any protests over the cartoons and avoid any public gatherings.
“It is recommended to exercise the greatest vigilance, especially while traveling, and in places that are frequented by tourists or expatriate communities,” it said.
The French Embassy in Turkey issued similar advice to its citizens there….
The French Interior Minister, Gerald Darmarin, has been like a rock in the current crisis: he will give no quarter to Muslims in or out of France who threaten the French state, French economic interests, or individual French people. Neither he nor President Macron has any patience for those who presume to dictate what can be discussed or shown in a French school or, indeed, anywhere in France. They have come down firmly on the side of free speech in the case of the cartoons of Muhammad, and have had the “forces of order” (the police and other security personnel) rounding up Muslims suspected of terrorist ties, including those who were sought most immediately for having whipped up the Chechen murderer of Paty or, after Paty’s murder, of celebrating it on social media.
Paris has recalled its ambassador in Ankara, and Pakistan’s parliament on Monday passed a resolution urging the government to recall its envoy from Paris….
Erdogan, the Turkish despot, has been the most outspoken in his criticism of President Macron for defending the exercise of free speech – including the use of cartoons of Mohammad in.a discussion of that very subject in a middle-school class. Erdgoan, of course, is an expert on free speech, a past master on how to curtail it; under his rule, more journalists have been jailed in Turkey than in any other country.
Since the beheading of the teacher Paty this month, the cartoons have been displayed in France in solidarity, angering some Muslims.
The cartoons have been displayed “as an act of solidarity” with the murdered teacher, a martyr to free speech, and also, by implication, with the nine cartoonists of Charlie Hebdo who were killed in 2015 by the Kouachi brothers for originally publishing those Muhammad cartoons. Some Muslims have been angered by this sympathy for Samuel Paty. How do those Muslims think the French feel about his murder? Or are these angry Muslims completely lacking the empathetic imagination? Yes, that seems to be the case. After all, why should the “best of peoples,” the Muslims, care what the Infidels – who are “the most vile of created beings” — think about anything?
President Emmanuel Macron, who met representatives of France’s Muslim community on Monday, has pledged to fight “Islamist separatism,” saying it was threatening to take over some Muslim communities in France.
Macron will now discover, to his chagrin, that there are areas in France where the “Islamist separatism” is not just “threatening” to take over, but has already taken over many no-go neighborhoods in French cities. In these areas heavily populated by Muslims, non-Muslims fear to visit, and that includes representatives of the French state, such as the police and firemen and sanitation men, who enter these neighborhoods only under guard; such areas as Seine St.-Denis in Paris, Lunel just outside Montpellier, the 3rd arrondissement in Marseille, the Empalot neighborhood of Toulouse, are already examples of “Islamist separatism.”
Saudi Arabia appeared to be taking a moderate response to the controversy, steering clear of boycott calls. A Saudi foreign ministry official said on Tuesday the Gulf state condemns all acts of terrorism, an apparent reference to Paty’s killing.
“Freedom of expression and culture should be a beacon of respect, tolerance and peace that rejects practices and acts which generate hatred, violence and extremism and are contrary to coexistence,” the official said in a statement….
The Saudis were in this case a force for moderation, counseling against an “overreaction” by Muslims to Macron’s remarks, refusing to join the calls for a boycott of French goods, and even condemning as “terrorism” the murder of Samuel Paty. Of course they also obliquely criticized Paty: “freedom of expression…should be a beacon of respect, tolerance, and peace” that “rejects practices and acts which generate hatred, violence, and extremism.” In other words, freedom of expression means, in Muslim terms, “if you can’t say something nice [about Islam], don’t say anything at all.” If you criticize or mock Islam in any way, that will only, and quite justifiably, “generate hatred, violence, and extremism [from Muslims] – such a reaction is the fault of those Infidels who were clearly intent on inflaming Muslims, and succeeded. Blame the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists, blame Samuel Paty. But don’t blame Muslims for defending the honor of their Prophet.”
Turkey’s Erdogan on Monday asked his compatriots to stop buying French goods and accused France of pursuing an anti-Islam agenda….
Apparently, for Erdogan, Macron’s refusing to denounce the use of the cartoons of Muhammad in a class on freedom of expression, his stout defense of free speech, makes the French President guilty of having an “anti-Islam agenda.” He clearly does not understand: Macron would defend just as stoutly any similar cartoons of Moses, Jesus, or the Buddha. Freedom of expression is clearly something that Erdogan cannot comprehend.
A great many Muslim states – Iran, Turkey, Pakistan – are determined to express their own displeasure with Macron and France, each one wanting to be perceived as the most fervent defender of the honor of the Prophet, and none of them showing the slightest inclination to respect French laws defending freedom of speech. They hope to attain, through a boycott of French goods, a surrender of its free-speech principles; they are most mistaken. Macron will not back down, no matter how much economic damage a boycott of French goods might do. And so far, not a single Muslim nation has imposed such a boycott in law; even Erdogan, who has been most outspoken in his attacks on Macron, has called for a boycott but not imposed it in the law by banning all French imports.
So many Muslims around the world now want to punish France for the unpardonable sin of defending free expression. Where is the Western solidarity in all this? Where are the statements by American, British, German, EU leaders? They haven’t spoken. They are leaving France to deal on its own with this attempt at punishment (“for Paty’s crime”), and extortion (“you must in the future limit your freedom of expression – or else”) by Muslim states. This lack of public solidarity with France is pusillanimous. The Western world should rouse itself as one being, in the manner described by John Milton in Areopagitica, his famous defense of freedom of speech: “Methinks I see in my mind a noble and puissant Nation rousing herself like a strong man after sleep.” The Western countries should say to the world’s Muslims – ideally in a collective statement — something like this:
“We wish to express our entire solidarity with the people and government of France after the murder of Samuel Paty, killed only for fulfilling his responsibilities in teaching a class on freedom of expression and in practicing that freedom himself. No democratic and free society can tolerate those who would shut down their freedom of speech because they do not like what is being expressed. Some governments have declared themselves in favor of a boycott of French goods. As a response, we here declare that we have committed ourselves not to buy the goods of any nation that engages in such a boycott of France. We will, furthermore, discourage our own nationals from visiting as tourists those countries whose leaders have called for such a boycott. We shall now see, in this contest of wills over freedom of expression, who will remain insubmissive, and who will bend.”
