Poll: Most Arizonans favor Bush administration’s immigration plan

    Sonu Munshi, Cronkite News Service

Sixty-nine percent of voters surveyed statewide said they support the administration plan, which will require employers to fire workers if their Social Security numbers are found to be questionable and the discrepancy can’t be resolved within 90 days. Twenty-one percent opposed the rule and 10 percent were undecided.

That is such Bull! McCain supported the Bush plan and his support levels in his home state of Arizona fell down into the lower 20's.

I'm getting sick of this bogus poll routine trying to convince people that a majority support amnesty.

    Sheer Crap!

Yeah, W McCain has fallen apart. There is also a movement to recall him there. He's just too hard-headed to drop out of the presidential race.

I can see that the headline is misleading. The article goes on to say that a large majority of Arizonans approve of a Bush administration plan to CURB THE HIRING OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

Yes, I take this as meaning people are for his new plan to go after employers with social security number problems.

Then again, I don't trust him with his so-called new plan.

    Actions speak louder than words.
