I don't take anything Obamaites said in 2011 about what can or can't be done about education and immigration seriously. There is no federal law that says you can't ask about immigration status. There's no federal law that says states have to admit any student into their schools. There's no federal law that even requires them to be open or even exist. States can close them all down if they want to. They can privatize them, sell the properties, do any damn thing they want to do.

They can shut them all down and sell books by grade at the grocery store and Walmart. Oh my God, think about how much money we'd save. Over $600 billion a year. $6 trillion every 10 years.
