Thread: Rank and File Union Members Breaking With AFL-CIO Over Illeg

Why, reading that made me almost PROUD again to be a union member. My local called me a couple of weeks ago and asked me to help them organize. I told them what I thought of them organizing ILLEGAL ALIENS with MY union dues and then declined to help them. It makes me ill that dues I pay are to a union who is so weak and ineffectual they sold ME out in the last contract and now they want me to help them organize other unions, some of those ILLEGAL.

I will never do anything but pay them the money they legally extort me for every month until they start protecting me and other AMERICAN workers again.

Check the law. I think you can opt out of your dues if you want to give them to charity. I think I've heard something like that.
