REPORT: CONDI RICE PUSHES FOR AMNESTY IN SPEECH TO GOP

    by TONY LEE
    29 Mar 2014

Former Secretary of State and National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice pressed for comprehensive immigration reform when she addressed the National Republican Congressional Committee on Wednesday.

According to The Hill, Rice, "who has been advocating for comprehensive immigration reform legislation, also took aim at those who oppose reform on the issue." She called on "members of the lower chamber, many of whom were in the audience, to embrace" it.

"They've come here from poor countries and they've come here from well-to-do countries. But they've come here to refresh us," Rice said. "We are a nation of immigrants and I know it's hard, but this nation of immigrants has got to remain a nation of immigrants, drawing to its shores the best and the brightest, the ambitious, those who belong with us and will make 'we the people' stronger."

Rice has said one of the greatest regrets of her time in George W. Bush's administration was not seeing the comprehensive McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill enacted into law.

    REPUBLICANS WANT AMNESTY ..

US Chamber of Commerce Pres: Pass Amnesty Now Before It Gets Tougher

Amnesty proponents "include lawmakers from both sides of the aisle, as well as labor, business, law enforcement, ethnic organizations, religious groups, and the high-tech industry" without mentioning that many of these groups are front-groups supported by left-wing donors like George Soros.

Democrat-Lite Politics – Condoleezza Rice Pushing Amnesty and War

Posted on 30 March, 2014 by Rick Wells

Condoleezza Rice has gotten her marching orders. She made the keynote speech Wednesday for the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual dinner and made the arguments for more wars and illegal alien amnesty.

Remember B. Hussein Obama and his ninety day window to push amnesty through? We’ve got about eighty days left and here is part of that push. The Democrats have done their part in the senate. Now it’s the Republicans’ turn in the House and out trots their show pony.

While they are at it, they are going to push military spending, not just defense spending and not just responsible military spending. The want “Portrayed as unpatriotic to question it, budget busting, largely unaccountable and therefore wasteful, in the name of Ronald Reagan military spending”.

While America must be a global power, and a strong military is vital to our position as a leader on the world stage, the only war we’ve won since World War Two was Grenada. Our leaders don’t go to war to win, we go to war because it’s good business.

Rice said, “Our values and our interests require defense. As Ronald Reagan famously said, peace really only comes through strength. What are we doing? What are we doing when we’re talking about a defense budget that is so small that our military starts to tell us that we may not in fact be able to carry out all of the requirements put upon it?”

She continued, “I fully understand the sense of weariness. I fully understand that we must think ‘us, again?’ I know that we’ve been through two difficult wars. I know that we have been vigilant against terrorism. I know that it’s hard. But leaders can’t afford to get tired. Leaders can’t afford to be weary.”

In pushing amnesty, Rice said, “People have come here from all over the world just to be a part of our great national belief that it doesn’t matter where you came from, it matters where you’re going.’We the people’ have been able to include them because we are not a nation of blood or of religion or ethnicity, we are a people who are united by our aspiration and that aspirational narrative has been shared by people who have come here for generations just to be a part of it,” she said.

“They’ve come here from poor countries and they’ve come here from well-to-do countries. But they’ve come here to refresh us. We are a nation of immigrants and I know it’s hard, but this nation of immigrants has got to remain a nation of immigrants, drawing to its shores the best and the brightest, the ambitious, those who belong with us and will make ‘we the people’ stronger.”

Rice is wrong on both points. She has purposely failed to distinguish between military defense and military aggression. An adventurist foreign policy for the purpose of advancing business opportunities and armament for the sake of full employment in the arms business are not issues of national security.

A wide-open border is counter to American interests including our security. Holding the country hostage by refusing to secure the border unless Americans agree to accept a wholesale civilian invasion labeled as “reform” is treasonous.

Rice doesn’t work for the American people. She never has and she doesn’t speak to our issues. She represents corporate America and the Bush-linked corporate interests. Bush was no friend of border enforcement and his record on armed conflict is clear.

Rice completely ignored the plight of the unemployed Americans, those who used to be known as American workers. She also completely ignores in her comments the distinction between legal immigrants and illegal border crashers.

Rice is a shill making what has up to this point been a Democrat argument and in doing so highlights the growing lack of distinction between the two parties.

Their plan has been exposed. The establishment Republicans and Democrats want their amnesty. They also want the defense spigot left wide open.

Rice’s speech is more evidence that the Republican Party is in serious need of an overhaul and that conservative candidates need the support of grassroots patriotic Americans in what will be a tough fight for the future
    for the future of America.
