Where did I say I believe the media? I said just the opposite. This thread wasn't even about John Kelly.

But since you brought John Kelly into it. I am still amazed at his interview on Fox about Trump had evolved on the Wall---I heard all that interview with my own ears, and saw it with my own eyes, no sources involved. I'm still trying to unravel that one. Did John Kelly lie? Was John Kelly (a military General) that badly mistaken in what he saw and heard? or did Trump read the comments before the election, and know exactly what to say to fool the voters into voting for him, and is now sending John Kelly out to do his dirty work for him?

About is Kelly on his way out, have heard he's out--he's staying so many times now, I didn't even give this latest one a second thought.

Yes, Trump tells whoppers, and it makes it very difficult to believe anything he says, and that is a bad state of affairs for the nation IMO.

Correct. That was a point about who you believe. The media was speculating that Gen. Kelly was on his way out. It seemed to be unanimous, but then President Trump said he wanted Gen. Kelly to stay until 2020, and General Kelly said he would stay. So who are you gonna believe?

Well that doesn't narrow it down for me. You didn't say what it is about.

It is the nature of politics. If everyone is lying and you are telling the truth, you will lose. Look at the politicians who swore not to sling mud at their opponents. They either start slinging mud or disappear from the arena. I would like to see liars prosecuted, politics or not. We can't know who is a better candidate when everything for or against them is a lie.

I wasn't even aware of the John Kelly speculation until you brought it up. I believe for the moment he is staying, next week, next month I have no idea one way or the other.

In his campaigning, he hyped the wall. But anybody familiar with that entire border knows that a three thousand mile long wall is not practical, if even doable. And most thinking people know Mexico was not going to just hand over cash on demand.

Donald Trump was a businessman, not a politician. So the claim was he had no experience to be President. But that is true of almost everybody who takes that office. George Washington didn't want the job. It is a learning experience just like most jobs are. They don't graduate from the Presidential Academy! And even military officers don't graduate as generals.

I too believe the president will delay. If the republicans don't prevail in the elections, we will never have a wall. If republicans do succeed in the elections we may or may not get a wall and border security. Both parties are morphing into one on immigration, border security, and refugee matters.

President Trump could find a way through a declaration of some type of invasion and national security. He only has a short window to stop this mass planned and continuing invasion and transformation of America.

Sad to say, but some want this to be a campaign issue F.O.R.E.V.E.R.

Almost as soon as the 2016 election was over I started seeing comments about don't be in a hurry to get this fixed, we need it to campaign on in 2018 and 2020. If the Republicans do win there will be en excuse invented to delay for a few months, then again about March of 2020 it will be, oh we have to delay until after the election.

We are in perpetual election mode!
