Weisman said, he opposes its use as a matter of public policy, particularly in light of its “discriminatory impact on naturalized citizens and other foreign-born workers.â€

They were SO appreciative and eager to listen. They had no idea that Rhode Island's story was widely being read, or that L.A. talk radio host Terry Anderson had praised Carcieri effusively in his opening monologue about two weeks ago. Terry compared Carcieri to Gov. Schwarzenegger and said that the California guv was the girly man by comparison.

PLEASE contact his office and offer your support as well, or at least send an e-mail. Here's the contact info:

Thanks Anna. Great suggestion. We must let Gov. Carcierl know that the vast majority of Rhode Islanders and Americans support what he is doing and not to be bullied by the radical open-border zealots at the ACLU at al.

Yes Anna, thank you for posting the info for the Governor.

I am most certainly going to lend him my full support and thank him for refusing to bend to the will of illegal aliens and their advocates. We need many more like him who are not afraid to stand up to these people and serve as a role model for all who sincerely do want to do the right thing but are still afraid to come right and say so.

While I'm at it, I'm going to ask that he demand clarification as to the language "other foreign born workers" contained within the suit and then makes sure that it becomes public knowledge. I'm sick and tired of the pro-illegal advocacy hiding behind obscure and twisted references......to coin a phrase "code words" if you will.......to illegal aliens and I can't think of a better place to start than right here, with this lawsuit.

After all, if he is being accused of acting in a discriminatory fashion, then the Governor has every right to know SPECIFICALLY which "foreign born workers" he is allegedly setting up for discrimantory acts.
