Ok, well, NOW they will hit back against Obama. If Romney gets in, it will be 24/7 NON-STOP ENDLESS ACTIVISM to get him to budge on border/illegal issues. Are we ready? Actually, the DAY after, he needs to get SLAMMED about illegals, it is the ONLY WAY if possible to get him to move on it. There are enough people who can do this, we need to join together in this monumental battle. They need to hear us LOUD AND CLEAR!!

We need a better visa exit program. We keep getting promised that something is in the works (who really knows though).
It is my understanding that legal immigrat workers (visa holders) for farm labor are bused in because they don't hold legal driver's licenses. They are accountable to the farmer who hires them and it is his (farmer) responsibility to house and care for them. Also, it is the farmers responsibility to report anyone that goes on the lamb.
I believe mandatory E-Verify, the very thing Romney is pushing for, will go along way to alleviate a lot of your concerns. If they can't find work elsewhere, they'll be very reluctant to screw their chance for further seasonal work. Additionally, I believe Romney will do a lot more to enforce our immigration laws than Obama has.Last edited by MW; 08-11-2012 at 04:50 PM.

Well there goes that. That's all the research I need on this Ryan person. So Romney and Ryan are both stooges for the businesses who'd rather employ foreigners than raise the wages of American workers. Combined with Romney's perplexing response to illegal immigration these past couple of months, has the GOP completely lost it???
For those who actually support Romney on the need for more VISAs for, say, foreign farm labor, are you actually saying you have faith that the GOVERNMENT will not screw this up and let them wonder around and stay put in this country? Where did this blind faith in government come from all of a sudden. Is Romney somehow going to restore the competency of big government???

Just for the record, I'm still not voting for Romney or Obama. I've one friend that has enlarged upoin that. He now says that if it says Rep or Dem beside their name for any office he's voting for himself. Makes sense, if you are disillusioed or angry at both parties, why vote for any of their candidates.

Conservatives know who Paul Ryan is. So do all the liberal progressives in Washington.

I wonder if they know that he voted for TARP back in 08, according to this post:

And the fact that he scores low on illegal immigration and supports foreign labor, as if American workers are not up to the task.
