ROSWELL, N.M. -- Federal immigration agents raided a high-tech aviation business in Roswell today arresting 15 suspected illegal aliens.
The agents hit the Dean Baldwin Painting Inc. at the Roswell Industrial Air Center. It’s a state-of-the-art aircraft stripping and repainting firm employing more than 170 people.

Agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement said those arrested for being in the country illegally are from Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala.

As the 15 were being taken to jail, Homeland Security agents continued questioning people inside the business.

“ICE special agents along with other federal agencies and local offices executed a documentary search warrant here at this business,” ICE Public Information Officer Leticia Zamarripa said. “They are still interviewing, speaking to people inside.

They're will be more details forthcoming, but at this time, this is really all I can tell you.”

Baldwin company officials declined comment.

The company could face criminal charges.
