The mayor of Las Vegas is currently building a "Museum to the Mob" at public expense (yes). He is an attorney who made his fortune defending major mob figures. He thinks the "role of the mob" in "building Las Vegas" should be "celebrated". Now who is the wealthiest and most powerful "new mob" today? Mexican and other South American Drug Cartels. And who, as much as big business, wants the border between the United States and Latin America opened completely the better for them to "sell their wares" within the United States? Drug Cartels.

As Jean said, "Follow the money".

Sen. Byron Dorgan worked hard to defeat last year's amnesty bill in the Senate. His opposition was primarily on the basis of the new guest worker program, which he believed was a threat to U.S. workers. Sen. Byrd also spoke eloquently in the Senate against amnesty, and worked stratigically with Sen. Ben Nelson (D-NE) and Sens. Sessions and Vittar to defeat it. Unfortunately, Sen. Ben Nelson seems to have changed his position, moving to cut off debate on the stimulus bill before Sen. Sessions could introduce his amendment requiring E-Verify. Meat packing plants have a huge influence in Nebraska, Nelson's home state.

Thanks for refreshing my memory on Dorgan....

This Open Border and illegal alien problem has everything to do with what is in the NAFTA agreement....free movement of goods and People...exact words in the agreement.

I wouldn't doubt if their is something in it that gives Mexican citizens the right to work here since they are working so hard to keep e-verify out. something is wrong here.
