St. Paul set to welcome over 1000 new U.S. citizens

    May 12, 2019 07:24 PM

Over 1000 permanent residents from 89 countries will become newly naturalized citizens Monday during a naturalization ceremony at the RiverCentre in St. Paul.

A release from the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services stated that the top countries represented include Somalia, Myanmar, India, Ethiopia and Laos.

The candidates will join the over 750,000 new citizens naturalized nationwide in the 2018 fiscal year, according to the USCIS release.

"These monthly naturalization ceremonies highlight successful efforts of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Office of USCIS to process thousands of lawful permanent residents to become citizens of the United States of America," the release stated.

The ceremony, during which candidates will take the oath of allegiance to finalize their naturalization process, will take place at 10:30 Monday morning.

    NO AMNESTY

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.
