More then likely having illegals as tenants meant collecting rents in cash
and assuming it would be stashed at her home.

Yessssss........and even more ironic that he would have had such intimate knowledge of the family, where this woman lived, her phone # etc.

Could it be that he had ingratiated himself as a "friendly insider"? Perhaps worked for them?
