One Central American teenager claims he was sexually abused while being held in custody at a Border Patrol station in the Rio Grande Valley.
Starr County Sheriff's Office officials confirmed an ongoing investigation into the incident.

Investigators said the male juvenile was being held in a cell with other immigrants when he claimed he was attacked by another male while at the Border Patrol Station in Starr County.

Deputies told Action 4 News the teen kept the incident a secret until he was transferred out of the Valley to an facility upstate.

The Valley is currently receiving a large influx of unaccompanied children and women from Central America.
