For those illnesses that inoculation vaccines are known to work, much could be controlled by mandatory shots for all school children nationwide during the first week of school, or better the week before school begins.

I wonder if it has occurred to anyone at CDC or HHS to be sure we have that much vaccine on hand. Mass vaccinations at schools in the 40's and 50's was one way that led to controlling risk of several dread diseases, smallpox, polio, etc. This is probably a good time for such again, mandatory without exceptions.
