    Olivares, the families’ lead attorney, explains the case is not solely about the matricula and more about providing the certificate to U.S. citizens.

    “The case is about getting some door open for these parents, whether that’s the matricula or a passport without a visa, or an expired Mexican border ID or an expired Mexican driver’s license — some way, they need to accept something from these parents,” Olivares said. “It doesn’t have to be the matricula, which probably would be the easiest thing to do because they all have it, but it’s not the only thing.”
    Hmmmm. I think this case just became about closing the door on these parents.

    NO AMNESTY
