Traffic Stop Yields $4 Million in Meth

Two Mexican nationals were caught with 10 gallons of liquid meth

LA GRANGE, Tex. -A routine traffic stop in southeast Texas has yielded about $4 million in methamphetamine.

A Fayette County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Canine Unit stopped a blue Dodge truck about 1 p.m. on Friday.

More than 10 gallons of liquid meth were found stored inside a fuel tank.

Mexican nationals 29-year-old Rodolfo Hernandez and his mother, 61-year-old Francisca Hernandez, were arrested at the scene and taken to the Fayette County Jail for booking.

It was not immediately clear whether either had an attorney.
