Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Antonovich recently made public the staggering amount which the taxpayers spend on illegal aliens, living in L.A. County. This June alone, the county paid out $48 million to the children of illegal aliens, known as ‘anchor babies,’ an increase of $10 million over June 2007.
$26 million of that total came in the form of food stamps, while another $22 million was given to the illegal alien families in welfare checks.
If the current pace continues for the remainder of 2009, Los Angeles County will spend nearly $600 million on those two programs this year alone. That is in addition to the more than $1 billion that the county spends annually on the medical treatment, education, emergency services, and incarceration of illegal aliens.
These figures truly explain why not only L.A. County, but the entire state of California are now in financial ruin. Supervisor Michael Antonovich told reporters that illegal aliens continue to have a “catastrophic impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers.â€Support our FIGHT AGAINST illegal immigration & Amnesty by joining our E-mail Alerts at https://eepurl.com/cktGTn

He is wrong. Arnie says they have absolutely no effect on our states economy and he is proud that we have services that they can take advantage of. Arnie can't be wrong.

Sounds like the Governator has begun to show his feathers as the Terminator. Elementary arithmetic is apparently not important.

LOS ANGELES COUNTY - Figures from the Department of Public Social Services show that children of illegal aliens in Los Angeles County collected nearly $22 million in welfare and over $26 million in food stamps in June, according to county Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich.
Projected over a 12 month period, this would exceed $575 million.
Annually the cost of illegal immigration to Los Angeles County taxpayers exceeds $1 billion dollars, which includes $350 million for public safety, $400 million for health care, and $500 million in welfare and food stamps allocations.
Twenty-four percent of the county's total allotment of welfare and food stamp benefits goes directly to U.S.-born children of illegal aliens.
"Illegal immigration continues to have a catastrophic impact on Los Angeles County taxpayers," Antonovich said. "The total cost for illegal immigrants to county taxpayers exceeds $1 billion a year - not including the millions of dollars for education."

Don't reward the criminal actions of millions of illegal aliens by giving them citizenship.

This is good information to resource in preparation for next year's elections. All Californians should send copies of this article to their politicians and remind them that (read below)...
Remember that*all Politicians work for us, the U.S. Taxpaying Citizens.* If they are not doing their jobs to your liking, FIRE THEM in the next elections.

I think the thing that annoys me the most is this attitude that the immigrants have that they DESERVE all this support. While our politicians toss all the veterans and African-Americans in the flames for these people. It's so rude.
I left California because I lived in an area that was becoming mostly immigrants. The Hispanic were the worst. They were rude and disrespectful. I moved to Arizona. Worse here. Now I see I should have stayed put. I did exactly what they wanted me to do. We need to put our foot down and stay put. Push them out. We belong here. And, if we are going to help any minority it should be African-Americans, NOT ILLEGALS.
