HIDALGO -- U.S. Border Patrol agents apprehended 23 Cuban immigrants Wednesday who had illegally entered the country near the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge.

All the immigrants remained in custody Thursday to be interviewed and check their criminal and immigration history, according to a Border Patrol news release.

The immigrants may be paroled into the United States, based on the Cuban Refugee Adjustment Act.

It doesn't matter if they came through mexico to get here,if cubans make it to our soil they are home free. What a crock

When are the idiots in dc going to fix some of these foolish policies such as Cuban Refugee Adjustment Act and birthright citizenship.

    Wake up America!
We can't deport them all ? Just think of the fun we could have trying!

Is this the other half of the group that was captured by gunpoint in Mexico, which later ended up in TX?

in a few months they will be on medicaid, welfare, foodstamps and free housing!

Plus have a brand new greencard after which they will petition the gov't to give them permission to travel back to Cuba to visit their relatives.
