Yea, but it's a start... and it's a lot more than we have been seeing!

I know that since they put ICE in many jails alot there is a large number of immigration holds. In those cases the people end up deported. The challenge is to keep them from coming back. In Borward County on average they have 1 to 2 immigration holds on a person arrested each day and they don't have as many as Miami Dade County and Collier County. What they need to add is ICE getting information regarding their employer and then be able to go after them. Many times when illegals get arrested they will say what their job is but not who their employer is.

As of the end of September 2009, ICE removed 387,000 illegal aliens from the country, including 136,000 who were convicted of crimes in the U.S.
