Vicente Fox Talks Immigration In Arkansas
Minutes into his speech at Harding University, former Mexican president Vicente Fox talked on the issue of immigration.
"Documented, undocumented; they are real heroes,” he says. "They are here because they're looking for the American Dream."
Fox went on the say America would be in trouble without Mexican workers.
"Otherwise this county does not have the capacity to compete with China and with Asia," he says.
Outside, protesters say the influx of illegal immigrants is the fault of Fox's administration and policies.
"Mexico is in desperate need of becoming a real nation that can take care of its own citizens so its people don't have to be forced by starvation and poverty to come here and be exploited," says Kenny Wallis, President of Keep Arkansas Legal.
Wallis wasn't allowed to hand out pamphlets on campus, but went on to say Wednesday’s opening of a Mexican consulate in Little Rock is bad, too.
"It's going to increase and encourage more aliens to come here and all of the problems that come with it. We're already seeing overcrowding in schools,” he says.
Harding student Martha Aguilar is from Mexico and disagrees.
"I don't see it as a bad influence for the United States. I see it as a new opportunity for new people living in the states to have that relationship with Mexico," she says.
Fox says even more needs to be done to help immigrants become legal residents.
"They are here because they are working. They are here because they want to contribute to the largest economy in the world. They want to feed their families and upgrade themselves," he says.

So Fox was welcomed onto the college campus to disperse his propaganda verbally and in person but and American group (outside) there to protest was not even allowed to give out pamphlets to counter Fox's claims?
Says a lot doesn't it?

(((Fox went on the say America would be in trouble without Mexican workers. )))
Is that so, Mr. Fox?
People who came here legally from other countries are just as capable as Mexican's, so why can't American's choose who they want here? We don't want your lawbreaking anti-American ingrates here.
Edit to add: Fox and other Mexican officials should not have any rights in America to lobby for anything that deals with the lawbreaking illegals crossing our border.
