FAYETTEVILLE — A Rogers man pleaded guilty in U. S. District Court on Tuesday to helping an illegal alien use fake documents to work at the Tyson Chick’n Quick plant in Rogers.

Timmy Davis, a plant manager for National Service Co. of Iowa, pleaded guilty to one count of harboring an illegal alien.

National Service Co. provided cleaning for Tyson Chick’n Quick in Rogers, according to court documents filed Tuesday.

U. S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement began investigating Davis in May 2005 after they learned he knew an illegal alien was using fake documents to work for his company, court documents said.

The woman told federal investigators that she was a supervisor under Davis and he knew she was illegal and even hired her a second time under a different name, court records said.

Davis was released from federal custody Tuesday in lieu of a $ 2, 500 bond and will be sentenced at a later date.

He could face up to five years in federal prison and a $ 250, 000 fine.
