    Day 12 - 9/28/11 Daily Recap
    OccupyTVNY

Uploaded by OccupyTVNY on Sep 29, 2011

Everyday we will do our best to bring you a daily recap of the revolution going on in New York City's financial district.

On September 28th, Day 12, we were joined by Hip-Hop pioneer, Russell Simmons who stood with us in solidarity and spoke out against corruption and corporate greed.

Supplies and care packages streamed in from all over the world with messages of love and support. A hundred New Yorkers (including Russell Simmons) sat in stillness, meditating for social change, peace, and justice.

And we are still going strong.

These people are starting to wake up! They're beginning to realize just how deep the global banking theft scam really runs. Just wait for the day when the entire country wakes up and realizes everything has been stolen from them by the crooks running our global banking system... on that day, there is absolutely no question that Martial Law will be declared in America.

Continuing with the topic of Wall Street videos, here's a truly shocking -- jaw dropping! -- series of blunt admissions by a Wall Street trader named Alessio Rastani. He will probably never be invited back to the BBC. Watch this video to see why (transcript also provided at this link)
    http://www.naturalnews.com/033741_Wall_ ... rader.html

And finally, on the more hilarious side of things, here's a truly unforgettable video of a mainstream media journalist who is so ignorant about gold and fiat currency that she says, on live Canadian television, gold is backed by "nothing" while the U.S. dollar is backed by "the government." Therefore, she concludes, dollars are more reliable than gold!
    http://www.naturalnews.com/033740_gold_journalism.html

These three videos will teach you a lot about how the grand financial con really works and why the mainstream media has turned into a goup of babbling idiots who are utterly incapable of intelligently reporting on anything that really matters.

By the way, on the topic of financial scams, allow me to challenge you with one simple thing that should really blow your mind: Do you realize that there is absolutely no need for the U.S. government to fund itself with tax dollars? The whole "pay your taxes" thing is truly a giant con because, as we've seen with every Wall Street bailout in recent years, the government can simply create money when it wants to by asking the Fed to create yet more fiat currency. Want proof? Ask yourself how the government raised the money for the trillions of dollars in Wall Street bailouts. It simply created the money (as debt) and then transferred it to the banksters!

This means that all the tax revenues collected each year by the federal government could simply be replaced by a single entry in a U.S. Treasury computer (as debt owed to the Federal Reserve). Thus, the whole purpose of the tax code is not to raise money to fund the government. Rather, it is to financially oppress the People of America and make sure people remain stuck in an endless cycle of consumerism and debt.

Of course, creating new money out of thin air is a dangerous recipe for an eventually currency blowout (and hyperinflation), so I don't support such a thing, but the U.S. government does it all the time anyway. So why not just cancel the entire tax code and let the government simply create a couple of trillion dollars each year and let us all keep our paychecks for a change?

Watch the three videos above to learn more about all this...

P.S. Next week is non-GMO week and we've got a great lineup of incredible breaking stories to bring you on GMOs, so stay tuned!

Roseanne in an interview with Max Keiser

Roseanne Barr: Behead Bankers, Rich Who Won't Give Up Wealth

Actress, comedienne and now author Roseanne Barr shares her solution for dealing with the rich and how the banks could repay the money the U.S. government bailed them out with in 2008.

"Part of my platform is, of course, the guilty must be punished and that we no longer let our children see their guilty leaders getting away with murder. Because it teaches children, you know, that they don't have to have any morals as long as they have guns and are bullies and I don't think that's a good message," Barr told Russia Today (RT).

"I do say that I am in favor of the return of the guillotine and that is for the worst of the worst of the guilty.

"I first would allow the guilty bankers to pay, you know, the ability to pay back anything over $100 million [of] personal wealth because I believe in a maximum wage of $100 million. And if they are unable to live on that amount of that amount then they should, you know, go to the reeducation camps and if that doesn't help, then being beheaded," Barr said with a straight face.

Who’s really behind Wall Street protests?

    October 3, 2011

The New York Times on Fridayfeatured a videodepicting the motivation of the Wall Street protesters without disclosing the radical background of some of those featured in the newspaper’s piece.

The video was entitled, “The young and old on what they hope to accomplish by joining the Occupy Wall Street demonstration in Zuccotti Park.â€

Occupy Wall Street – A Curious Sense of Collaboration and Bizarre Coalitions
Eric Odom (Media Director) 6 Comments Share

Back on September 18th I wrote a post that exposed the Occupy Wall Street protests for what they are… anarchists, leftist organized astro-turf rallies. Since then the protests have exploded into other cities and the collaboration happening across the board is astonishing. Well, both extremely ironic and astonishing.

You see, the protestors have a message of rebellion against big government, big corporations and the rich in general. They’re being coordinated by straight up anarchists and socialists, and much of the messaging has been downright bizarre.

When I mention coordination and collaboration I’m understating what I view as an unprecedented attempt to disrupt the economic engine of America. Something very deep, very troublesome is being coordinated and at a level previously unseen.

In this post I’ll show you that federal Representatives, the worlds powerful elite, anarchists, Hollywood millionaires and global socialists/communists groups are collaborating on messaging.

    WE ARE LEGION (ANONYMOUS)

We’ll start with this strange video put out by the anarchist group Anonymous.

Let’s see. The video is being promoted on YouTube, a company bought by Google, which is managed by billionaires. The video was likely produced using sofwtare created by a big corporation. The video talks about the ability to share our lives across the web, but fails to mention this is only possible due to Capitalism and for-profit social media companies.

The irony keeps going. The video calls for the use of cell phones, computers, the internet and technology to help spawn a revolution, but fails to mention all of these products are corporate generated and create wealth.

The narrated message calls for viewers to hack the system and bring it all down, then claims it’s not an anarchist effort.

And possibly the strangest part of the video is the use of the phrase “We are Legion.â€

Meet the Obama link to Wall Street terror

    October 7, 2011

Stephen Lerner, a controversial anti-capitalist SEIU organizer, is one of the forces behind the protests on Wall Street and nationwide, according to quotes obtained by a socialist activist who doubles as a Washington Post columnist.

Lerner recently laid out a mass economic protest plan intended to bring down the stock market, and boasted his plan could be used to cause a new financial crisis. His ideology prompted some conservative critics to go so far as to label him an economic terrorist.

Writing in the Washington Post on Tuesday, columnist Harold Meyerson, the vice-chair of Democratic Socialists of America, quoted Lerner describing how a coalition is fomenting the current economic protests.

Lerner described himself as part of that coalition, referring to the organizations behind the demonstrations as “we.â€

STRIKE IN SOLIDARITY WITH END THE FED OCT 15
"WE the PEOPLE" do not have to travel great distances and submit to the tyranny of out of control police tactics. Corporate corruption and greed lie at the very heart of central banks and governments, their tentacles reaching into the core of our world, and if we want to help with the clean up, we can go local.

We can educate ourselves. We can follow the money. We can refuse to be co-opted by globalist funded movements, and literally "Strike" while the iron is hot.

Prepare to defend your future by withdrawing from governments gone wild, starving the beast collectively, while uniting locally. Instead of being targeted as one of thousands in another part of the country, turn the tables and target your local corrupt politicians in their own, your own districts and back yards.

Demand an end to banking fraud, foreign military occupation & military aid, central governments, banks, and fractional reserve banking. Demand individual, state, and national sovereignty. Time now for common sense, common law, and a passion for the Freedom which is the birth right of all.

Become the Hero of your own life and stand for your children, or submit your future to the debt slavery that binds us now.

Power to the People through Peaceful Unity!

This is her feeling about Occupy WallStreet....there are videos and pictures at her newsletter site linked below..

On a personal note: I am still on the fence I am not sure that this movement hasn't been corrupted by certain factions and it is worrisome to me. In theory it is good, maybe even right, but like the Tea Party corruption a year or so back by the GOP I feel that some of this is the case within this movement as well, and I guess time will tell. Until then I plan to be as unbiased as I can. Hopefully I can any ways !!!!

Occupy Main Street By Michael Rectenwald 06 Oct 2011

The world economic order is in the throes of severe crisis, a crisis for which economic or political experts and advisors have no answers at all. The crisis is the direct result of the contradictions of capitalist production and exchange, which have come to a head as capitalists have reached (perhaps temporary) limits in global labor exploitation and resource acquisition. The political establishment is also hostage to the same capitalist crisis. It has nothing on offer for the vast majority within existing conditions, and certainly cannot propose anything beyond them. Reformers have no new tricks left in their bag and the reforms that haven't been enacted are beyond the reach of the system.

The Occupy Wall Street movement represents the long-standing, brewing and boiling over of anger, disillusionment, dispossession, and growing despair of the many millions affected by this systemic crisis. Indeed, the movement represents, at least figuratively, the cry of the vast majority of the nation’s and the world's population – "the 99%." The movement thus contains the germ of revolutionary potential – a potential, however incipient and faint -- to completely overthrow the existing state of affairs and to commence the long revolutionary process of inaugurating a successor social order.

Yet the importance and relative success of the Occupy Wall Street is not due to any program, platform or series of demands, nor to the array, number, or character of protesters themselves. Rather, the potential of the movement derives from the objective historical conditions of capitalism and its effects on hundreds of millions worldwide. These conditions have emerged in the consciousness of workers, students, and the under- and unemployed, prompting action across the country and across the globe, the likes of which OCW is only a recent and growing example.

By the same token, the crisis in capitalism is not due to the character of Wall Street executives, the psychopathic greed of the bankers, the deregulation of the stock market, the outlandish salaries of corporate executives, or the utter ineffectualness of bourgeois political parties. These are all symptoms of the crisis, not its causes. No psychological, sociological or strictly political explanations are adequate to explain the death grip that the system has on the vast majority in the U.S. and across the world. What appears as increased rapacity and seeming utter indifference to the needs of the vast majority on the part of the ownership class and their political representatives is in fact a function of the same capitalist crisis that has brought the protesters to the streets. The deregulation, the bailouts, the hoarding, the investment boycott, the austerity measures, the imperialist wars, the political and economic inaction and indifference – these are all symptomatic of the same crisis and cannot simply be attributed to individual character flaws or even to political desiderata. Certainly the system produces the very monsters and policies that the protesters declaim. But their existence and behavior is an utterly predictable product of objective historical conditions.

Likewise, the political establishment and their mouthpieces either attempt to dismiss the protests as irrational and misguided, or, in the case of the left Democrats and the unions, to co-opt them for electoral and thus dead ends. The political parties will battle over the future and meaning of the protests. But in no case will an alliance with either party or any of their representatives yield any benefit to the protesters or the hundreds of millions that they represent. The political establishment cannot but represent the interests that the movement necessarily opposes.

The movement must utterly reject all ties to the Democratic Party, including its boosters, apologists, ginger groups and union surrogates. These can be spotted by their suggestions and deflections. Do they call on the removal of greed and a character change of individuals, or do they reject a system that necessarily promotes and rewards greed? Do they point to the other political party as the culprit, or to the Federal Reserve, or do they recognize the complicity of the entire political and economic establishment in the conditions that obtain for the vast majority? Do they appeal to and petition the lords and masters for mercy, or do they work to mobilize the vast majority for a showdown against them?

Some Democrats and their proxies will attempt to reframe demands away from systemic change. But progressive reforms will not be forthcoming – because capitalism cannot afford them. What may pass as reform can only be roll-backs for the majority and boons to the ownership class. This is Obama's role precisely—to package as reforms policies that are essentially austerity measures for the vast majority and hand-outs to the corporate class that he represents.

To avoid being co-opted or crushed, the Wall Street Occupation must become Occupy Main Street. It must attract the many layers of the 99% that are not yet literally represented within its ranks. These include industrial but also temporary, piecemeal, service, educational, medical, communications, technical and unemployed workers, amongst others. The 99% must represent a factual, not merely a rhetorical inclusion. The terms must be broader and deeper than leftist reformism, comprehending and including the whole workforce, such as those at the Wall Marts of the world. It must focus on the exploitation of workers everywhere, and their liberation from the lottery-like conditions of the capitalist marketplace.
