POLL: WILL IMMIGRATION REFORM PASS IN 2010?
POLL: WILL IMMIGRATION REFORM PASS IN 2010?
Orange County Register
February 1, 2010
The Webisphere is a flutter with news analysis and commentary as to whether immigration reform is shot for this year.
The hubbub is in reaction to a couple of recent events. First, Massachusetts's newly elected Republican Senator Scott Brown isn't too keen on reform.
Second, President Barack Obama's minuscule mention of the issue during the State of the Union address.
New York Daily News columnist Albor Ruiz thinks Obama essentially wrote immigration reform's epitaph, while the issues supporters are a bit more optimistic.
Here's a story from Newsweek about the issue:

Another from the Washington Post:

What do you think?
Will immigration reform (or as some in the anti-illegal immigration crowd call Amnesty) pass this year?
