    There was an article by Juam Mann on VDARE which provided a brief overview of significant (I'm trusting Mann;s judgement on this, since he is an attorney, I am not) court rulings, including US Supreme Court. They do indeed go back a long way.


    From the Chae Chan Ping v United States Decision---in 1889-- laws that oppose federal policy are invalid. Very strong language to that effect, too. Of course immigrant advocates are always trying to establish new trends.
    I wonder what subsequent decisons reinforce Ping?

    In view of the Supreme Court's rule in Ping how do sanctuary cities exist?
