15 people were shot in Baltimore between Friday evening and Monday morning.

A man was shot to death in the chest at about 7:43 p.m. Sunday in the 5500 block of Rubin Ave., in the Woodmere neighborhood of Northwest Baltimore — two blocks from the same block of Minnoka Avenue, where a man was shot in the hip a week earlier. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Homicide detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2100.

Less than 15 minutes earlier, a man was shot in the shoulder in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Ave., in Penn North. Western District detectives are investigating, and anyone with information may call 410-396-2477.

The third victim walked into a hospital at 5:05 p.m. with a gunshot wound to his buttocks, but police said investigators had not yet determined where the shooting had taken place as of Sunday night.

In addition to those shootings, police said two people involved in earlier shootings had died.

At 1:12 a.m. on Sunday, police found a man shot multiple times in the 4800 block of Alhambra Ave. in the Richnor Springs neighborhood of North Baltimore. He died later in the day, police said Monday morning.

No further information was available Monday.

Seven of the weekend's shootings, including two of the homicides
happened between 10 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday, police said.

Three more men were shot Saturday night and Sunday morning.

A man walked into an area hospital just after 8 p.m. Saturday after being shot in the leg. Police don't know exactly where the shooting took place. Anyone with information may call Western District detectives at 410-396-2477.

At 6:57 a.m. on Sunday, officers found a man shot in the neck and torso in the 6100 block of Cardiff Ave. in the Medford neighborhood. The man was transported to an area hospital. Anyone with information may call 410-396-2422.

The stabbing happened in the 2300 block of Charles St. in the Old Goucher neighborhood Sunday. A man was stabbed in the arm, police said. Anyone with information may call Northern District detectives at 410-396-2455.

Two shootings took place late Sunday and around midnight.

The 19-year-old woman, who was shot multiple times in the chest and back, was in critical condition. She took herself to a hospital shortly after midnight, and police believe she was shot in the 500 block of E. 43rd Street in the Wilson Park neighborhood. Northern District detectives ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2455.

A 22-year-old man was also shot in the buttock in the unit block of S. Athol Avenue in the Irvington neighborhood around 11:40 p.m. Police found him nearby in the 4300 block of Adelle Terrace. He was in stable condition, police said. Southwest District detectives are investigating and ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2488.

Very interesting crime map! You can see most of the shooting victims are black males in their 30's but one of the cases is a triple homicide.

You can also go to google maps and use the street view feature to see what it looks like in these parts of Baltimore.

Including democrats, we all need to be mindful that guns are not the problem. It seems that our lack of improving mental health care may be a very large portion of our shooting problems. Gangs are probably the largest part. We cannot gain anything by attacking the messenger (guns) instead of the sources. How dumb is that? How dumb is it to pump money down a rarhole?
