The Biden Administration was more worried about ensuring troops were vaccinated than getting troops to serve.

The Air Force is struggling to obtain air men according to a new report.
According to Air Force secretary Frank Kendall, “We are currently projecting about a 10% shortfall this year in the active Air Force and more in the Guard and Reserve.”
Foreign News Desk reported:
The United States Air Force is currently struggling to obtain new airmen for its ranks and will likely miss its active-duty, reserve, and Air National Guard recruitment plans in 2023, Air Force secretary Frank Kendall said this week.
According to reports, Kendall spoke at the Air and Space Force Association’s Air Warfare Symposium in Colorado, pointing to the decreased interest in seeking service in the military as one of the primary factors to a projected shortfall that will occur this year concerning new recruitments.
“We are currently projecting about a 10% shortfall this year in the active Air Force and more in the Guard and Reserve,” Kendall said at the Air and Space Force Association’s Air Warfare Symposium.
“We are swimming upstream against the reduced propensity to serve nationally across the board and a limited percentage of qualified candidates.”
In late February, the Biden administration finally told all military services to rescind their COVID vaccine policies.
Dayton Daily News reported:
The Air Force will reverse disciplinary or “adverse” actions taken against members who had requested an exemption from the mandate to get the COVID-19 vaccine for religious reasons, the Air Force said Friday.

All military services have until March 17 to rescind their COVID-19 vaccination policies, according to a Pentagon memo released Friday,
The Air Force will remove “adverse information” from records of service members who sought an exemption on religious, administrative, or medical grounds and who had those actions taken against them “solely due to their refusal to take the vaccine,” the service said.
Service members do not need to initiate any actions for their records to be updated, the Air Force said.
