Womack, I didn't mean to be so hard on you, but you only provided a link for the first article. My thoughts on this are, that if all that can be dug up is speculation about a candidate, then it has no credibility. There's going to be alot of mud slinging in the following months. Because Paul is a threat to the other politicians right now, they will try to knock him off the radar and diminish his support. I just suggest that everyone stick to the facts.

The presidential material (whatever that means) that we have to compare Ron Paul with...let's see , we have Bush (better known as the chimp), we're being thrown to the lions and he says "ole!". Then there's Clinton, Mr Dribble and Drool, loves a good cigar but doesn't smoke. As if we didn't have enough bushes and schrubs we have the original one world order president George Sr. who actually TELLS us with a straight face that we are being sold to the highest bidder. Bondage can be fun.
As far as I'm concerned none of those were presidential material yet they were and are. The lesser of two evils strikes again and again. The presidential standard would be one who upholds our laws and Constitution, even if it's not popular to do so. Does Ron Paul appear to be an ego-maniac or power-mad? Just what is his agenda? Is there a secret plot? Even though I haven't backed him, I am wondering... why not? Are we afraid to trust someone who is this honest? Does it make us uneasy when someone speaks the truth and is not afraid of the repercusions? Just thinking out loud.
We are NOT a nation of immigrants!

I am not sure what exactly a racist is -
Again people, remember we are all racists according to some and are called that on a daily basis.
For that reason alone, I would be cautious about giving any credence to this.
When someone speaks truths that don't fit with certain agendas, they are deemed racist or homophobe or some such thing.
If anyone gets away with attacking someone with whom they disagree politically and attacking them as a racist - we are all in danger.
This kind of ugliness is exactly what is being used against the ones who want something done about illegal immigration. - how can anyone condone it - or think it 'should be researched'.
Now being for legalizing drugs is not the same as being a racist -
So gloat and say 'well maybe there's something to it - or it's probably true because he is for legalizing drugs' - because you have another candidate.
Remember this kind of smear can be used against you and your candidate - if you let this kind of nastiness get a foothold.
It won't matter to Paul, he'll survive if he doesn't win the presidency and will be very comfortable - but it will matter to all of us who have this thrown at us on a daily basis - it will matter to future candidates who have a message that doesn't fit into the mold - it will matter to America if this is allowed to flourish.
This is bigger than Ron Paul, or any other candidate.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Some think we have to pick the lesser of two evils. The lesser is still evil. Now is the time to stand up for what you believe in, not accept the lesser of two evils. We are not going to have too many more chances to do this before this country is brought to its knees.

Isn't the fact that we have too often listened to "racism!, racism!" cries the main reason that we are now facing unprecedented cultural crisis which could destroy us once for all?

My only point is.........
I am not supporting Ron Paul for president, so I am not going to spend the time researching to see if there is any truth to any of these allegations-----or proving that there is NO truth to any of these allegations.
If I were supporting Ron Paul----due to the seriousness of the allegations-----I would definitely take the time to research-----if nothing else but to PROVE that there is DEFINITELY nothing that supports what is being said."We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works." --- Alfredo Gutierrez, political consultant.

Is Ron Paul the writer of His new letters…?
Does Ron Paul Over see his staff and their actions…?
Is Ron Paul Responsible for the articles He publishes…?

What you do not seem to understand is that there is no serious allegations because there is no proof. If you want to prove these allegations are true then that would be your job there is nothing for Ron Paul supporters to research because there is no proof!

i haven't read his newsletters so I can't tell you. And according to articles published here, there has been no proof that he wrote them. I have, however researched his record as a Congressman and his life and I don't see anything wrong with him.

As for Dr. Pauls stand on the civil war he explained that on the NOW interview. He said we lost 50,000 young men and it all could have been prevented and we should have found a way to do it peacefully like other countries did.
I have studied the Civil War extensively because it has always been a question mark in my head as to why it happened.
I came to the conclusion the North was just as guilty as the South. The Northern manufactures wanted the South put out of business by getting rid of slavery, not because they cared about the slaves, but because they did not want the competition.
In the midst of rival businesses duking it out North against the South guess who died and guess who suffered ? Yup the common person Black and White.Sound familiar ?"A Government big enough to give you everything you want,is strong enough to take everything you have"* Thomas Jefferson
