Does that apply to all foreign speakers or just Puerto Ricans?

    Well lookie here!

Puerto Rico voted Republican, and among other things, but they are still in dire straights.

The push to vote Republican makes me think something else is underfoot...

Oh yeah, Tim Wise said something about the nature of things:

Great find, Boomslang!! So, political matters in PR aren't quite as they've been presented huh?! I think Trump is turning Puerto Rico "RED". I think he's going to turn a lot of places red. I mean it's just common sense when you think about it.

I don't necessarily think that "turning red" is even going to help.
A lot of good it's done already...

The video was pretty good, critical of the US of course (any British account of anything American will be), but nice to learn about these US laws that might not be working as well as they were supposed to given the corruption in PR and apparent lack of oversight by US.

No they aren't. Wait and see. They just pretend to be. England isn't who it used to be, not any more.

You're right, "red" alone won't help ..... but Trump Red could. I mean there's only 3.3 million people in all of Puerto Rico. Fixing PR is simple. You tell the bond people, "sorry, default". Make PR a state, with full rights and obligations, call a meeting of money, those bondholders who just took a great fall, fire all the thieves who stole the money, and turn this group of money loose with some fantastic re-developers and they'll rebuild PR into a great American Resort to compete with Mexico faster than China built their ugly fake military islands in the South China Sea.

Underground power in a flood can create an electrical hazard. It also can corrode electrical connections. Additionally, I understand the the earth absorbs about 1/3 of the power. It also costs a lot more.

Power poles and wires are not knocked own by hurricanes. It's the trees that fall on them that brings them down.
