    6:52 p.m. April 5, 2007

    SAN DIEGO – The man whose decomposed body was found Wednesday in the trunk of a car in a Clairemont Mesa street has been identified as a Ivan Lozano, 28, a U.S. citizen who lived in Tijuana.


    Investigators found the body in the trunk of a Chrysler Concorde after residents had reported a foul stench coming from the vehicle, which had been parked on Bamburgh Drive near Charger Boulevard. The car had been reported stolen from Chula Vista on March 24.

    That's horrible. It has the trademarks of either drugs or gangs, coming out of Tijuana that is (regardless of where the car wound up).
