Be careful of the words you say,
Keep the soft and
Keep them sweet
Because you never know
From day to day
which ones you’ll have to eat.

I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that I've gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It's never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings You glory
And I know there'll be days
When this life brings me pain
But if that's what it takes to praise You
Jesus, bring the rain
I am Yours regardless of
The clouds that may loom above
Because You are much greater than my pain
You who made a way for me
By suffering Your destiny
So tell me what's a little rain
So I pray
Holy, holy, holy

Here I am Lord and I’m drowning, in Your sea of forgetfulness
The chains of yesterday surround me, I yearn for peace and rest
I don’t want to end up where You found me
And it echoes in my mind
Keeps me awake tonight
I know you’ve cast my sin as far as the East is from the West
And I stand before You now as though I’ve never sinned
But today I feel like I’m just one mistake away
From You leaving me this way
Jesus can you show me just how far the east is from the west
‘Cause I can’t bear to see the man I’ve been
Rising up in me again
In the arms of Your mercy I find rest
‘Cause You know just how far the east is from the west
From one scarred hand to the other
I start the day, the war begins
Endless reminding of my sin
And time and time again
Your truth is drowned out by the storm I’m in
Today I feel like I’m just one mistake away
from You leaving me this way
I know You’ve washed me white
Turn my darkness into life
I need Your peace to get me through
To get me through this night
I can’t live by what I feel
About the truth Your word reveals
I’m not holding on to You
But You’re holding on to me
You’re holding on to me

The Kids ask If I would post this one Here you go Guys its a fun one ...
Oh, you can't get to heaven (Oh, you can't to heaven)
On roller skates. (On roller skates.)
You'll roll right by (You'll roll right by)
Those pearly gates. (Those pearly gates.)
Oh, you can't get to heaven on roller skates.
You'll roll right by those pearly gates.
I ain't a-gonna grieve my Lord no more.
I ain't a-gonna grieve my Lord no more.
I ain't a-gonna grieve my Lord no more.
I ain't a-gonna grieve my Lord no more.
Other verses include:
Oh, you can't get to heaven in a rocking chair
'Cause the rocking chair won't take you there.
Oh, you can't get to heaven in a trolley car
'Cause the gosh darn thing won't go that far.
Oh, you can't get to heaven on a rocket ship
'Cause the rocket ship won't take that trip.
Oh, you can't get to heaven with powder and paint
'Cause the Lord don't want you as you ain't.
Oh, you can't get to heaven in a limousine
'Cause the Lord don't sell no gasoline.
Oh, you can't get to heaven on a pair of skis
'Cause you'll schuss right through St. Peter's knees.
If you get to heaven before I do,
Just bore a hole and pull me through.
If I get to heaven before you do,
I'll plug that hole with shavings and glue.
"That's all there is. There ain't no more,"
St. Peter said, and closed the door.
You'll never get to heaven on a Boy Scout's knee,
'Cos a Boy Sscout's knee is too hairy!
(Scouts sing....on a Girl Guide's knee...too wobbly)!!
You'll never get to heaven in dirty jeans,
'Cos the Lord don't have no washing machines.
You'll never get to heaven on a playtex bra,
'Cos a playtex bra won't stretch that far.
You'll never get to heaven in a rocking chair,
'Cos the Lord He keeps no lazybones there.
You'll never get to heaven on a bottle of gin,
'Cos the Lord won't let no drunkards in.
You'll never get to heaven on a bottle of stout,
'Cos the Lord he throws all drunkards out.
Oh, you can't get to heaven if your newly wed
Cause the Lord ain't got no double bed!
You'll never get to heaven on a ping pong ball
'Cos a ping pong ball is far too small!
You'll never get to heaven in a biscuit tin
'Cos the Lord don't let no crummy ones in!
You'll never get to heaven on a Boy Scout's knee
'Cos you never know where his hands will be!!!
[To be sung in selected company!]
You'll never get to Heaven in [someone's name]'s car
'Cos [someone's name]'s car won't get that far! (or: stops at every bar)
You'll never get to Heaven with a dog as a pet
'Cos the Lord ain't got no lamp posts yet!
You'll never get to heaven in a jumbo jet
'Cos the Lord ain't got no runways yet!
You'll never get to heaven in a bottle of gin
'Cos the Lord won't let no spirits in!
You'll never get to heaven in a bottle of whisky
'Cos the Lord don't like his angels frisky!
If you get there before I do
Just dig a hole and pull me through.
If I get there before you do
I'll dig a hole and spit on you!
"And that is all," St Peter said
As he closed the gates and went to bed.
There are three things you must not do:
You must not spit or smoke or chew.
Oh you'll never get to heaven in a baked bean tin
'Cos a baked bean tin's got baked beans in!
You can't get to heaven in an electric chair,
'Cause the Lord don't allow no fried meat there!
You can't get to heaven in a strapless gown,
'Cause the Lord's afraid it might fall down!
Oh you can't get to heaven with hippy hair,
The Lord don't allow that mess up there!
Oh you can't get to heaven in a mini skirt,
The Lord don't allow that girlie flirt.
Oh, you can't get to heaven in a Kleenex box,
'Cause the Lord don't allow no little snots!

FOR HIM
Magnificent Holy Father
I stand in awe of all I see
Of all the things You have created
But still You choose to think of me
Who am I that You should suffer
Your very life to set me free
The only thing that I can give You
Is the life You gave to me
This is my offering, dear Lord
This is my offering to You, God
And I will give You my life
For it's all I have to give
Because You gave Your life for me
I stand before You at this altar
So many have given You more
I may not have much I can offer
Yet what I have is truly Yours
This is my offering

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy with the baby in the backseat
Fifty miles to go and she was running low on faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
she was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning on a thin black sheet of glass
She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was sooo scared
She threw her hands up in the air
Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat sleeping like a rock
And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight
Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Oh, Jesus take the wheel
Oh, I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
Oh, take it, take it from me
Oh, why, oh
*
10 out of 10 times,
If we turn any thing over to Jesus
We find that he already has the wheel,
We just didnt didnt hand him
the keys in the first place...

I think it was Ben Franklin that said this:
Gentlemen, I have lived a long time and am convinced that God governs in the affairs of men. If a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid? I move that prayer imploring the assistance of Heaven be held every morning before we proceed to business."
Wise man that Ben ...
Sweet secret prayer, comfort divine,
There, O my Lord, I know Thou art mine;
Great Master, there in secret with Thee,
Heaven comes nearer and nearer to me.
Blessings attend and follow us there;
Heaven comes nearer and nearer in prayer.
Sweet secret prayer, comfort divine,
There do Thine arms, Lord, round me entwine;
Rivers of love and mercy there flow,
Balm for all sorrow that mortal can know.
Sweet secret prayer, comfort divine,
There do I feel I truly am Thine;
Heav’n’s windows open, Jesus is near,
Near to my soul, and the Father will hear.

I Love this one !
He came to town on an old freight train,
He jumped off in the pourin' rain.
Everybody said "He's insane",
"Just a low down no account hobo."
He made his bed 'neath the county bridge.
The city folk said "Hey that's not his!"
They signed a petition,
They're gonna get rid,
Of that low down no account white trash.
What if Jesus comes back like that,
On an old freight train,
In a hobo hat?
Will we, let him in or turn our back?
What if Jesus comes back like that?
OOOHHHH
What if Jesus comes back like that?
She was born into drug abuse,
She couldn't help what her momma used.
It wasn't like she got to choose,
Now she's layin' there all alone.
Gotta monkey on her back,
The nurse's say the never saw a smile like that.
Dr. says she might stand a chance,
If somebody takes her home.
What if Jesus comes back like that?
Two months early,
Hooked on crack.
Will we, let him in or turn our back?
What if Jesus comes back like that?
OOOHHHH
What if Jesus comes back like that?
Nobody said life is fair.
We've all got a cross to bear.
When it gets a little hard to care,
Just think about him hangin' there.
He came to town on a cold dark night.
A single star his only light.
A baby born that silent night.
A manger for his bed.
What if Jesus comes back like that,
Where will he find our hearts are at?
Will he, let us in or turn his back?
What if Jesus comes back like that?
Will he cry when he see's where our hearts are at?
Will he, let us in or turn his back?
What if Jesus comes back like that?
Hey! What if Jesus comes back like that?
Think about it .

A farmer and a teacher, a hooker and a preacher,
Ridin' on a midnight bus bound for Mexico.
One's headed for vacation, one for higher education,
And two of them were searchin' for lost souls.
That driver never ever saw the stop sign.
An' eighteen wheelers can't stop on a dime.
There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.
That farmer left a harvest, a home and eighty acres,
The faith an' love for growin' things in his young son's heart.
An' that teacher left her wisdom in the minds of lots of children:
Did her best to give 'em all a better start.
An' that preacher whispered: "Can't you see the Promised Land?"
As he laid his blood-stained bible in that hooker's hand.
There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, Heaven only knows.
I guess it's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.
That's the story that our preacher told last Sunday.
As he held that blood-stained bible up,
For all of us to see.
He said: "Bless the farmer, and the teacher, an' the preacher;
Who gave this Bible to my mamma,
Who read it to me."
There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway,
Why there's not four of them, now I guess we know.
It's not what you take when you leave this world behind you,
It's what you leave behind you when you go.
There are three wooden crosses on the right side of the highway.

The week hasnt been Good but Ive got food the bills are paid we swung the school clothes and we have work for monday .
Thank you lord
Why the cross.
God loves you so much that He took your punishment on the cross ?
Down at the cross where my Savior died,
Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His Name!
Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:
There to my heart was the blood applied;
Glory to His Name!
I am so wondrously saved from sin,
Jesus so sweetly abides within;
There at the cross where He took me in;
Glory to His Name!
Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His Name!
Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,
Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;
Plunge in today, and be made complete;
Glory to His Name!
