I love Glenn...I truly want to know why some don't
Because I am not a perfect person and always working to reality check myself... I am interested in understanding what it is about GB that people do not like. I enjoy GB and if I am wrong about him I seriously would appreciate you explaining to me what it is that is wrong please.
I thought this clip on immigration would be a good chance for us to share what we think about Glenn Beck.

Glen is good
Glen is good when he speaks of the left and communism etc. However his true colors show when he starts talking about his beliefs and about conservatives etc...He is not far removed from being a RINO himself.

Glenn Beck has been teaching history, he has been putting pieces together of the great socialist plan, he has been giving background information on people in the current White House, in the government in general, in unions, in special interests, and drawing the big connection.
Glenn has been alerting the American people to the illegal immigration issue, showing that it is about the 7 million plus of new voters that Democrats and Republicans want to woo.
Glenn has also been addressing the revisionist history that liberals, socialists, atheists, and others have thrust upon the public, often ignorant of American history, when it comes to the important influence that God, the Bible, and Christianity had upon those who came and those who set up the government within the United States.
Glenn has acquired an enormous audience, and let us hope that he will continue to shine a bright light, and not flip against the American people. He is human, prone to mistakes and missteps. We need to help keep him honest.
Yesterday, Glenn was linking illegal immigration, the vote for statehood of Puerto Rico, that occurs tomorrow, Thursday (with Republican support), and the 7 million potential voters. They speak Spanish there, and the people do not want statehood.
John 14:27 (King James Version)
It is written,... Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.Matthew 19:26
But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Glen Beck engages in propaganda and is attempting to twist and distort history.
For instance, American was not founded on Christian principles and the Treaty of Tripoli, unanimously passed by Congress said so explicitly. Many of our Founding Fathers were not only not Christian, but aethiests, or anti Christian like Jefferson.
Beck has no clue what "socialism" is. He used the term interchangably with "communism" a completely different concept. He ignores the fact that our miliary is a socialits organization, as are our police and fire departments, public schools, transportation systems etc.
I do have to say that his illegal immigration talk though was excellent.
But in general, he is a right wing crazy.Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.

With regards to the founding of this nation there is no debate whatsoever about the Judeo-Christian contribution.
As for Article 11 contained in the Treaty of Tripoli there has been a lot of scholarly discussion and debate about this. Regardless, it is not reasonable to suggest that this treaty posses some supreme power to explain away the influence and significance of hundreds if not thousands of other documents and laws recognizing the belief in God amongst the Founding Fathers and people of this nation?
Every day Congress has been in session since the Treaty of Tripoli it has begun with a prayer in the name of God. What God do you think this reference was and is made to if not that of the Christians and Jews?

There is no debate. It didn't happen. There is no metion of God in any of our founding documents, only the Creator which is a Deist concept. Of course Diests don't believe in anything approching the concept of a Christian god.

Pleasse explain the Christian princples evident in our founding documents? The 10 commandments? Turn the other cheek? The belief if god (there is no mention whatsover). All there is a provision to keep religon out of the public square. Hardly an endorsement.
I'll post the rest later this pm.Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.

SovereignMan,
Well here is my response. The first is a series of quotes etc from Jefferson.
Then I have attached some info about the Treaty of Tripoli which establishes clearly that our politicians at the time did not think this nation was founded on Christian principles.
Finally, I have attached a great article about the Founding Fathers and the debate about their religion. The fact is, may of our Founding Fathers, in fact the most influenial ones like Jefferson, Payne, Madison, Franklin and Washington, were not Christians, they were Deists or held other beliefs, so even if they referenced a concept of god, it was not a Christian god.

Sovereign,
It looks like some the quotes got repeated, sorry about that. Also Ihave no idea why the article on the founding fathers was underlined. Obviously I am wordprocessing challenged.Take a stand or all there will be left to do is to ask the last person in the country we once called America to lower the flag one last time.
