Philadelphia MAYHEM: Massive LOOTING leads to VIOLENT brawl between cops and thieves

The Philadelphia Police Department has arrested more than 50 people after a flash mob type of looting broke out in the Pennsylvania city on the night of September 26. According to reports, a large group of around 100 juveniles (and adults) kept moving from store to store and looting them. The stores the thieves stole from were the Footlocker and the Apple store near 15th and Chestnut streets and a Lululemon store in the area.
Acting Police Commissioner John Stanford said Tuesday night's looting had nothing to do with the peaceful protest that took place earlier after charges were dismissed against the officer who shot and killed Eddie Irizarry. Stanford argued the misfits just used the protest as an excuse to engage in criminal behavior. "This had nothing to do with the protests. What we had tonight was a bunch of criminal opportunists," Stanford said, adding that the police have made at least 20 arrests. By Wednesday afternoon, Mayor Jim Kenney told NBC10's Brian Sheehan that number had raised to 52 arrests "and counting."
The mayor said that the "destructive and illegal behavior cannot and will not be tolerated in the city," vowing to get the "criminals" to pay a price. "This is not shoplifting," the mayor said. "This is looting. This is riot."

Thank you to @PhillyPolice for their swift response to disperse crowds and make necessary arrests related to last night’s incidents. This was a sickening display of opportunistic criminal activity, and we will not stand for it.

Large crowds of juveniles loot multiple stores in Center City, police say
Large crowds of juveniles looted multiple stores in Center City Tuesday night, including Foot Locker, the Apple store and Lululemon.

    8:30 AM · Sep 27, 2023

Some videos that spread on social media showed officers grabbing thieves, some of whom were wearing Halloween masks, as they ran rioting through a Lululemon store. A cop even managed to hit one of the looters with a punch after tackling them to the ground. The footage also showed bikes and piles of merchandise piled up on the sidewalk outside of the apparel store branch as officers arrived and started making arrests. An earlier clip from the Apple store showed the aftermath of the looting, with iPhones and other electronic goods seemingly ripped from their display stands, and confused staff members can be seen standing around.
Fox News reporter Steve Keeley also shared footage showing the police placing handcuffs on one man, as they guard the exterior of the store. Numerous people can be heard shouting in the background as he is led to the rear of a police van. Another shot of looters outside the Lululemon store shows a large number of thieves making their escape as officers arrive on the scene.

Hakeem Russel, a security guard at a nearby Wendy's told NBC that the store next to the fast food restaurant had been broken into and a guard was assaulted. "A couple of kids decided they wanted to take full advantage of the unjust shooting that's happened. It's definitely been unrest around here since the verdict."
Officers blocked off several streets in the area with crime scene tape due to the robberies. The police said that there were no injuries reported and they are extending shifts for officers to make sure they were prepared for any issues through the weekend.
Livestreamer who encouraged looters among those arrested

Dayjia Blackwell, 21, a woman who had been live streaming the chaos in the city onto her Instagram page under the user name "Meatball," was among those who were arrested. Prior to this, she was also sharing clips of the looting, seemingly encouraging the robberies. She was even shouting, "Everybody must eat! Everybody must eat!"

She was charged with burglary, conspiracy, criminal trespass, riot, criminal mischief, criminal use of a communication facility, receipt of stolen property, and disorderly conduct. "This person incited a lot of other individuals to do, at one point, what we know, is coordinating a caravan of individuals to go across the city, hitting multiple locations," said Stanford. Blackwell has since posted bail and is due back in court next month.
According to DailyMail.com, crime soared across Philadelphia with homelessness and drug use on the street becoming more prevalent. These social concerns create a bigger issue as those involved resort to petty theft as a way to find ways to sustain themselves or supply their addictions. (Related: Pandemic of retail THEFT: Democrat county supervisor now regrets stupidly backing a radical crime bill that legalized shoplifting in California.)
Retail giant Walmart, meanwhile, announced plans to reopen one of its branches in California, which closed down due to theft, shoplifting, and other fraudulent activities. However, this time, it is resuming operations with major upgrades and distinctive features such as a pharmacy, grocery store, and police station. Having a police substation in a Walmart branch is a first, but officials believe an increased police presence will help to prevent in-store crime to make shoppers feel safer. The substation will also feature a place for police to charge their phones and body cameras, as well as have meetings and file documents.

We Went from Obamavilles for Americans (Busted up Shacks) in a (War Zone) cooking up some ROTISSERIE RATS in RVs to Bidenvilles for Illegal Aliens (Living the American Dream)

Just so you know, that is Americas Destiny, Mad Max Style. It didn't have to be this way

The New Hoovervilles? RV Villages And Make-Shift Tribes On The Rise As Inflation Bites

    TUESDAY, OCT 17, 2023 - 09:45 PM

From 2020 to 2023, the median purchase price of homes in the US rose from $320,000 to over $420,000 – That's a 33% increase in only 3 years. In 2011, the average price of a home was around $200,000, meaning prices have doubled in a single decade. The average apartment rental price in the US is now $1300 per month, compared to $1000 in 2020, and home rentals have risen to over $2000 per month on average. The spike in the market is a reflection of inflation across the board, as well as increased demand due to more Americans being priced out of home ownership.
Another interesting development during the pandemic years was a considerable rush to buy RVs, vans and tiny homes. This may have been a symptom of the authoritarian lockdowns that became a standard in blue states, leading people to relocate. However, there is also the economic factor. The average tiny home runs $30,000 to $60,000, with used RVs available for even less. RV space rentals can be found for as low as $500 per month. For those willing to sacrifice living space, the savings are alluring.
Inflationary crisis is pushing low income and fixed income Americans into tighter living conditions, and people are trying to adapt as best they can. The underlying difference between economic disasters of the past like the Great Depression and the stagflation crisis of today is not the severity of the decline but the visibility of the decline.

In the Great Depression, the proliferation of “Hooverville” shanty towns and charity soup lines became an iconic symbol of the scale of financial calamity. These kids of signals of collapse are not as prevalent or obvious in our era. Soup lines have been replaced by EBT benefits and food banks, while Hoovervilles are being replaced by “Squatter Towns” made up of RV villages on the outskirts of highways and Walmart parking lots.

Another factor which has perhaps improved the conditions of falling home affordability is the remote work option and the “gig economy.” A person living out of an RV or van has the ability to connect to the internet and raise funds through digital work, they can become contract workers for delivery services, or they can work a regular 9-5 job while saving money on rent and utilities. This is not to say that the trend is ideal or that this should be the new western standard; it still represents the decline of western civilization. But, the ugliness of economic uncertainty is far more hidden from view.
During the Great Depression, many people became nomadic, traveling across the country by rail or by caravan looking for better living conditions and better employment. But the life of these nomads focused on less than ideal camp conditions, poor sanitation and poor security. They were often the targets of criminals. We have a version of this today in the form of “tent cities” in places like Los Angeles, but for now the RV option appears to be the dominant one.
Even in places as cold as Canada with limited populations, RV communities are popping up everywhere. The following video gives some insight into the lives of people who are involved in such communities, either by choice or by necessity.

(10654) Meet The Van Community SLEEPING in -40°C Canadian WINTERS. How They Survive - YouTube

One issue that stands out as paramount is the return of a kind of tribal organization. Neighbors knowing each other and helping each other through difficult times. The isolation of the modern world has created a kind of anti-community; a world in which no one knows anyone and mutual aid is seen as unsavory. Economic crisis has a tendency to force societies back to their origins and tribalism might be making a comeback as a fundamental of survival.

BLUE CITY CHAOS: Portland officials tell residents not to call 911 because system is overloaded

    10/08/2023 // Ethan Huff // 4.2K Views

Tags: 9/11, anti-police, big government, blue cities, chaos, Collapse, dangerous drugs, democrats, drug use, emergency responders, left cult, overdose deaths, Overdoses, pandemic, Portland

Rene Gonzalez, the city commissioner of public safety in Portland, is urging residents not to call 911 unless absolutely necessary because the system is being overwhelmed with calls about overdoses.
In a social media post, Gonzalez explained the situation and asked city residents for help during this difficult time to keep the phone lines running for only the most serious of emergencies.
"Our 911 system is getting hammered this morning with a multiple person incident – multiple overdoses in northwest park blocks," Gonzalez said. "Please do not call 911 except in event of life/death emergency or crime in progress (or chance of apprehending suspect). For non-emergency please use 503-823-3333."
In speaking with "On Balance" host Leland Vittert about the situation, Gonzalez said that the 911 system in Portland is completely overloaded and that something must be done to not only keep it going but also to help those in need.
"Our 911 systems are overwhelmed right now. So, we've got to confront this crisis head-on ... We need to take a strong stand in Portland."
(Related: Portland has lost more than a billion dollars as crime and homelessness send residents fleeing for greener pastures.)
COVID "pandemic" caused Oregon's Measure 110's addiction services rollout to stall, which is why this is now happening

Back in 2020, Oregon voters passed via referendum Measure 110, a bill that decriminalized the unlawful possession of controlled substances. What this means is that penalties for drug possession were reduced from a felony or misdemeanor to a simple Class E violation, which is punishable with a $100 fine.

The goal of the bill was to clear out the jails of non-violent offenders while implementing a new addiction services mechanism throughout the state that would help those addicted to harmful substances find rehabilitation rather than simply be thrown in prison by the Prison Industrial Complex.
The problem is that Measure 110 took effect right during the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic," which limited the rollout of the addiction services portion of Measure 110. As a result, jail time is down, but overdose deaths are way up.
"But that's what voters were sold on," Gonzalez explained, referring to the addiction services component of the legislation. "That we were decriminalizing addiction, that we would set up substantial, state-level addiction services that just didn't come about. I think that was the surprise."
"What was predictable is that Measure 110 would attract certain elements to the city that were looking for that lifestyle, and as a city, we're taking a hard stand increasingly to push back on that now."
Were drugs to be decriminalized all across the nation, those seeking that kind of "lifestyle," as Gonzalez puts it, would stay in their own areas and seek help there. Instead, many of them flee from states where drug laws are harsh and head on over to Oregon instead, which is exacerbating the problem.
"You know, the combination of Measure 110 and the 9th Circuit law on outdoor camping has really tied the city's hands to address these issues," Gonzalez added. "Frankly, we were probably too tolerant and accepting as a city even without those things on some of these behaviors that really destroy livability for everyone else."
"It's going to take multiple steps (to fix). There's no two ways about it, and you need all levels of government working in the same direction. We've been pushing certain forms of judicial reform for the last decade in the state and in our county. We're now paying the piper for that. Some well-intentioned things have had some really negative impacts."

Crime wave turns US cities into ‘warzones’ as locals flee New York and California in ‘mass exodus’

Story by Jack Walters • 2h

Soaring crime rates have turned US cities into “warzones” aslocals flee New York and California in a “mass exodus”, a leading Republican strategist has claimed.
Despite the FBI suggesting a two per cent dip in violent crime, Americans are witnessing a spike in offences with only 83 per cent of law enforcement agencies submitting data.

The crime wave, which is also seeing retailers adapt to combat an increase in shoplifting, is now believed to be playing a significant role in Americans relocating from major cities.
The shift is heightening fears about safety and with extortionate living costs many people are now moving from blue areas to red ones.
WATCH HERE: Adam Goodman explains crime wave in US

Grand Old Party strategist Adam Goodman suggested crime is now becoming normalised as criminals take “precedent” over victims.

He told GB News: “It’s a very complicated answer. You can glibly say ‘look there’s been a lot of liberal leadership in American cities for a very long time and a lot of American cities are taking it on the chin right now'. ‘So why wouldn’t you just change that out?'

“The second thing is crime is way up in a lot of American cities, I know places like San Francisco where it’s almost accepted that you can shoplift pretty much at your leisure and your pleasure.
“Parts of Seattle, I spent a lot of my own life in Washington state, have become like a warzone where lots of people are scared to walk to work, or walk anywhere. That was not in play five years ago, 10 years ago, it is now.”

Goodman, who warned young people could soon join the ongoing exodus in their droves, added: “At some point I think the American cities are going to be in trouble when they start bleeding population, until they decide to do things they are not doing.
“It seems to be a time where criminals are taking precedence over victims.

“Unless that mentality changes at the very top of leadership you can’t expect anything to change in those cities on any kind of measures.”
Homelessness, which Goodman described as an “epidemic”, is also supposedly contributing to internal migration trends.
“You can’t walk in an American city right now without being confronted face-to-face with that,” he said.

Republican strategist Adam Goodman© GB News (US)

There are nearly 600,000 rough sleepers across cities and towns in America.
The figure has soared from around 380,000 in 2021 when Covid restrictions brought additional disruption.
But internal migration trends could now constitute a “mass exodus” as New Yorkers switch higher taxes, soaring property prices and gloomy weather for no state income tax, expanding portfolios and tropical conditions.

There are also reportedly a number of people moving from true blue California to the neighbouring state of Utah.
Goodman concluded: “When people move not just with their minds but with their feet, they uproot and go somewhere completely different, that says that where they are is not keeping them very happy.”
