A Muslim convert in Dallas pleaded guilty to plotting an ISIS-inspired mass shooting at a Texas mall.

18-year-old Matin Azizi-Yarand was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday for solicitation of capital murder and making a terroristic threat, state and federal prosecutors announced.

Azizi-Yarand is eligible for parole in 10 years. Unbelievable. US Attorney Joseph Brown said Azizi-Yarand would have spent the rest of his life in prison if the case went to trial and he was convicted.
According to prosecutors, Matin Azizi-Yarand was arrested last May for plotting to shoot up infidels at a Frisco mall. He carefully planned the mass shooting to line up with Ramadan so no Muslims would be at the mall during the terrorist attack.

Muslims fast from sun up to sun down during Ramadan, so Azizi-Yarand figured he would only be killing the evil “kuffar” at the mall.

“He did not think Muslims would be in the mall during a Muslim holiday,” US Attorney Joseph Brown said during a press conference Monday.
According to Dallas News, Azizi-Yarand discussed his plans for a mass shooting with an undercover agent and even sent the FBI informant more than $1400 to purchase weapons and gear.
In one of the conversations with an FBI informant, Azizi-Yarand said he wanted to douse a cop in gasoline and burn him while recording the incident.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Azizi-Yarand converted to Islam his freshman year in high school and he was inspired by ISIS and expressed his hatred for the US in a manifesto of sorts called a “Message to America.”
According to the FBI, the investigation began in 2017 when Matin Azizi-Yarand was still a minor teen – The FBI’s North Texas Joint Terrorism Task Force was credited with breaking the case, with help from Plano and Frisco police, reported Dallas News.
Azizi-Yarand often referred to his contacts as “akhi” which is “my [Muslim] brother” in Arabic.
“Look at all the other lone wolves // What training did they have yet they simply killed the kuffar?” he wrote, using the Islamic term for disbelievers. “The brothers in Europe the brother in Spain the brother in New York? Had no limitary [sic] training // it’s not about numbers it’s about getting a message across to these taghut countries // it’s dangerous tho akhiwe have to be careful some have gotten arrested // so we good brother?”
According to the affidavit, Azizi-Yarand also cited the Quran and said he wished to “cast terror” into the hearts of disbelievers “as Allah commanded us.”
Via Dallas News:
“But I swear I want to achieve Allahs [God’s] pleasure and kill the kuffar,” he said, according to the affidavit. “I’ve only been reading ISIS magazine guides for performing operations and making bombs.”
He allegedly also told the FBI source that he had learned about Islam and ISIS on the internet. In one message, he said he had settled on a local attack. “The isis guy said // We should attack America … Are you fine with killing some Americans,” he wrote, according to the affidavit.
The teen also allegedly sent the source several types of ISIS propaganda. There were links to videos about life in the Islamic State and about being a martyr, as well as an image with the ISIS flag and a gun and the text “Jihad [Struggle/Fight] and the rifle alone. NO negotiations, NO conferences and NO dialogue,” according to the affidavit.
And Azizi-Yarand had written a speech that said in part: “before you call us evil people look your selves this is only revenge you have started this war with us it will never end. We target your people as revenge for ours who were slaughtered … You can move to another country that is not fighting the muslims but of course you want your easy lives in America so we will cast terror into your hearts as Allah commanded us.”
The media dubbed this Islamic convert a “lone wolf” and according to authorities, he acted alone in his plot to carry out a mass shooting at a North Texas mall.
Feds charged another Muslim man in court on Monday after he was accused of plotting to plow over infidels at the National Harbor waterfront in Maryland with a stolen U-Haul truck.
Meanwhile, the House Dems held a hearing on the threat of ‘white nationalism and hate crimes’ while they completely ignore the very real, ongoing threat of Islamic terrorism.
