Obama's brown shirts attack WGN and political speech
Has anyone seen THIS
SHUT UP, THEY EXPLAINED (AGAIN)
By Charlie Sykes
Story Created: Aug 28, 2008
Story Updated: Aug 28, 2008
Truly extraordinary story about the Obama campaign's attempt to intimidate and bully WGN into not airing a segment with writer Stanley Kurtz, who has been documenting Obama's ties to the unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist William Ayers.
Question is, is Obama’s Intimidation Tactics used to silence talk radio not a very good indication that if he were to get elected he will use the IRS, the Department of Justice, and any other government tool at his disposal to attack every media source and every individual which exposes his doings, and would especially use the force of government to mount a deadly attack on conservative talk show hosts such as Larry Elder, Ken Hamblin, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michelle Malkin, Bill Bennet, Mark Levin, Chuck Baldwin and others?
I believe it’s quite clear that Obama has shown us he has something very much in common with book burners of the past. Do we really want this kind of person, one who has proven he will use resources which are at his disposal to silence political speech, as the leader of the free world?
Obama’s orchestrated attempt to silence talk radio, as distinguished from Obama’s association with Billy the-bomb-maker Ayers, is a very big story and needs to be front page news across the country.

Hey Joey tight-lipped Biden, how do you feel about your running mate trying to shut down a talk radio show? Do you approve of Obama’s un-American strong arm tactics?

I have to admit the one group out side the GOP convention protesting "bird watching." IS A HOOT.
Sure that's exactly what the left does. Air America died because NO ONE WANTED TO LISTEN TO THEM. So hey if that doesn't work, shut down the people THEY DO WANT TO LISTEN TO. That's only fair.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Glenn Beck had a whole panel of people on tonight talking about his inconsistency. VERY INTERESTING. Watch the replay. It's coming up now.

Obama tries to shut down talk radio & stop political spe
Even Hillary supporters think Obama’s brown shirt tactics used on WGN are “unreal“ and “bully-boy tactics“.
As I have stated, Obama’s attempt to prevent a guest from appearing on the show is a very good indication that if he were to get elected he will use the IRS, the Department of Justice, and any other government tool at his disposal to attack every media source and every individual which exposes his doings, and would especially use the force of government to mount a deadly attack on conservative talk show hosts such as Larry Elder, Ken Hamblin, Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michelle Malkin, Bill Bennet, Mark Levin, Chuck Baldwin and others.
Why has the big media not reported Obama’s latest attempt to silence those who work to expose the real Obama?

Washington Times reports Obama`s attack upon WGN
.
Mark,
Great News! The Washington Times reports on Obama’s attempt to silence political speech being aired on WGN! See: First Amendment targeted

Wednesday, September 3, 2008
"When the heavy hand of the state is imposed on the press, all of us lose," Barack Obama told a group of Kenyan journalists during an August 2006 trip to Africa.
Snip……..
Mr. Obama's remarks implied he supports the First Amendment. His comment that "Democracy can't function properly without a free press," suggested he understood the importance of robust scrutiny of elected officials. Yet, when given the opportunity, Mr. Obama's recent actions have contradicted his own statements.
Snip…..
Another Obama target is Chicago radio station WGN. The source of Mr. Obama's ire is talk-show host Stanley Kurtz who is no Friend of Barry. The Obama campaign has urged supporters to attack WGN for permitting Mr. Kurtz to practice his profession.
Give your support to the Washington Times and Fox News for pointing a just finger at Obama’s attempt to silence political speech.
It’s sad to say that our establishment big media [NBC, CBS, ABC CNN, MSNBC , The New York Times, The Washington Post, etc., ] have ignored this story, which ought to be front page news across the nation as it exposes the real Barack the-silencer-of-political-speech Obama,

Wall Street Journal reports Obama’s attack against WGN
.
If you think that Obama’s attempt to shut down a radio talk show is insignificant and not a story which ought to be front page news, you may want to read JOHN FUND’S article in the Wall Street Journal:
Obama Should Come Clean On Ayers, Rezko And the Iraqi Billionaire
August 30, 2008; Page A11
Team Obama has launched an offensive against WGN, the Chicago Tribune's radio station, for interviewing Stanley Kurtz. Mr. Kurtz is a conservative writer who this week forced the University of Illinois to finally open its records on Sen. Obama's association with William Ayers, the unrepentant 1970s Weather Underground terrorist.
An Obama campaign email to supporters called Mr. Kurtz a "slimy character assassin" whose "divisive, destructive ranting" should be confronted. WGN producer Zack Christenson says the outpouring of negative calls and emails is "unprecedented." He also notes that it is curious -- because "we wanted the Obama campaign's take" on Mr. Kurtz's findings, but the campaign declined to put anyone on air.
Do we really want a person elected to be the President of the United States who is willing to use available resources to shut down the free exercise of political speech?

Obama`s brown shirts attack WGE - again!
Well, Obama’s "Action Wire" is at it again, and very much determined to silence political speech. See: WGN-AM again target of Obama campaign
It is the second time in recent weeks the station has been the target of an "Obama Action Wire" alert to supporters of the Illinois Democrat.
Monday night's target was David Freddoso, who the campaign said was scheduled to be on the station from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. Chicago time.
"The author of the latest anti-Barack hit book is appearing on WGN Radio in the Chicagoland market tonight, and your help is urgently needed to make sure his baseless lies don't gain credibility," an e-mail sent Monday evening to Obama supporters reads.
"David Freddoso has made a career off dishonest, extreme hate mongering," the message said. "And WGN apparently thinks this card-carrying member of the right-wing smear machine needs a bigger platform for his lies and smears about Barack Obama -- on the public airwaves."
