Last time I checked this board was about illegal immigration. None of the links address Ron Paul’s stand on illegal immigration.

Do you have any links to where Ron Paul address illegal immigration and that he will deport illegals or go after employers of illegals without the double talk and getting to the point?

I'm not pushing RP.......if you notice, I also posted on Huckabee and Romney. We have to start deciding who we are going to support, and it takes info on all of them. INFO, not snide remarks.

We discuss a whole host of things other than illegal immigation and it is listed under 'other topics, etc.'

There is room for differences, but it does us no good to cause problems among outselves.

This may be a bit off topic, but I think John Stossel is a complete POS. He has attempted to bash Lou Dobbs several times. He is a total globalist. Arrogant ass, as too many libertarians are (not Ron Paul though). I think libertarians have a very different view of the country than we do, and very different goals.

At the risk of generalizing, I'll say that libertarians live in an alternate reality. One where the stream of illegal aliens coming into this country will subside once we eliminate all welfare and public assistance subsidies, and where importing millions of people who support the philosophy of statism and socialist economic policies will be transformed into Randians and Milton Friedman devotees once they cross the Rio Grande and are given citizenship by the U.S. federal gov't.

.. and this assumption is valid in this thread, how? I hope you are not associating this sorta libertarianism belief system to Ron Paul. Cause that would be blatantly dishonest.

Agree 100%. Good analysis. Libertarianism is patently illogical, all things being equal
