SCREEN NAMES?
Until recently I gave screen names little attention, but I was questioned about “dye” and if it was meant to be spelled that way instead of “die” as did I know how to spell “die.” I chose “dye” because it identifies with a nickname I got in high school and had to do with my personality. It came from the phrase “dyed in the wool” to make it short means; “set in your ways”--an “original”---a “non conformist.”
“dyed in the wool”---long established, confirmed, committed dedicated, incorrigible diehard.
I began to look at screen names and wonder how they were chosen and if they describe the person’s personality.
I would like, and maybe others would also, to how your screen names were chosen.
I also wonder about a person who corrects others miss-spelled words and grammar. I personally would not do that because the most important is that the point is made and the person is understood. I am not here to correct errors in English grammar.
