I believe that due to the fear mongering fostered by the Congressional leaders, the President and Wall Street, that the fear mongering has had some undesired consequences. People have adjusted their accounts so they do not have all of their eggs in one basket, they have lowered their amounts in accounts, they have sold stock, they have cut back in spending, they are driving less, many of us due to lack of gas, etc. So, those who cried "WOLF," must ultimately must bear the greatest responsibility for these actions by the American people. They have created doubt and uncertainty and they are only making matters much worse. Even with this, the American people are against this.

One Banker on CNBC said that she had mixed feelings about this because her bank did not do risky loans and they will not benefit from any bail out for those who did questionable loans and deals.

They keep talking down to us and they think that if they only make the message more simple to understand that we the people may get the message. We understood the "high brow" version, but reject their answers to the problem.
