Translation:

On 27 november, Wilders announced that he was working on a movie on the
koran. From that moment on, there was blind panic among the islam's friends.
Like before the european referendum - 'Then there will be war' (Donner) [the
following names are dutch politicians & co] -, they attempt to sow fear and
intimidiate:

* Hirsch Ballin is a complete supporter of freedom of speech, but Wilders
ought to 'consider the possible repercussions'.

* The judiciary is examining if 'the broadcasting of the film can be
prevented'.

* Guusje ter Horst is absolutely certain that all the excitement around the
movie can lead to 'disturbances in the society and tension between the
ethnic groups'.

* Maxime Verhagen is carefully drawing Wilders' attention to 'the possible
risks for himself, his entourage and for dutchmen abroad'.

* The cream-white [other term for original dutchman] Doekle Terpstra howls
with the international-socialist wolves and appeals to 'a society-wide 'no'
against the evil message of Wilders and his colleagues'.

* The anti-western Hizb ut-Tahrir striving for islamitic world dominance
give their support directly to Terpstra and start distributing flyers.

* Police chief Bernard Welten shouts from the roofs that the film is a 'pure
provocation', and walks, under the eyes of the nation, to pre-emptive tea
sessions with riot-prone moslems [allusion at the habit of dutch politicians
to invite mohammedans to tea after problems, in order to talk about it].

* The Eindhoven burgomaster directs an 'urgent appeal to society to remain
solidary and to solve problems, without polarisation'.

* On top of it, the syrian grand mufti threatens that, 'if there is violence
and bloodshed after Wilders' koran movie, then it is solely Geert Wilders'
responsibility'.

All in all, a very impressive list of intimidation. And all this for a video
which hasn't even been shown. We could write an entire book about it. What
did I say! A book? There is more than enough material for s short film...

Indeed, if Wilders is really smart, he won't show a film on the fossile
koran on 25 january, but a film on the unspeakable treason of our own
rulers. Rulers who prefer to join the syrian grand mufti threatening,
instead of resisting against our country's islamisation.

If he really is smart, he doesn't repeat his useless demand for a
prohibition of koran, instead he features a mercyless unmasking of our
leaders as fear mongers. A fear which they borrow more greedily all the time
from the religion of peace.

If he does that, on 25 january, when the entire country is stuck to the
tube, then the knock against the friends of islam can not be ignored.

Wilders rightfully denounces islam as an anti-democratic, faschistoid hate
religion. Sura after sura, the koran appeals to maiming, chopping off
fingers, drawing off the skin, beheading, burning dead infidels and their
children. Testamentarian invocations? Here in Holland, islam fidels can with
impunity produce this hatred in their mosques. And again, 'socialist'
riffraff - produced by the SP and Groen Links [links = left] - demonstrates
against the fact that Wilders simply wishes to denounce the koran's and
islam's real dangers. According to the left, he must not do so!


And how can it be that there is not one islam-dominated country in the world
where there is freedom of education or human rights are respected.

We have been naive these last 30 years. We even thought that modern dutch
socialists were pro democracy and freedom of speech...

But the opposite is true. How could it be different.

The left parties are still in the pincer of red extremists from the previous
century.

A group of proles who until today don't feel ashamed to have howled and
collected money for mass murderers like Mao, Pol Pot and Castro, or were
paid by them. It is them who inflict damage on our society.

Grand Mufti speeches at the EU, warns The Netherlands

In their infinite wisdom, the European Parliament invited the Grand Mufti of Syria, Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, to deliver a speech. Supposedly, he's the first in a series of 'eminent religious and cultural leaders' to address the Toy Parliament in this, the EUnions 'Year of Intercultural Dialogue'. Naturally, the EP itself was gushing with praise and goodwill towards the Grand Mufti:

In a speech to MEPs on Tuesday on the subject of intercultural dialogue, the Grand Mufti of Syria, Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, stressed the value of culture as a unifying rather than a dividing force. Dr Hassoun was addressing a formal sitting of Parliament as the first speaker in a series of visits by eminent religious and cultural leaders in 2008, which has been designated European Year of Intercultural Dialogue.

Opening his address, the Grand Mufti stressed that "there is one single culture" in the world, the culture of humankind. Indeed, he said, "we are all building one culture, so I do not believe in the conflict of cultures".

If a clash did exist, this was "a conflict with ignorance, terrorism and backwardness". Stressing the universality of culture, he said that the Soviet and American space agencies, in sending men to the moon, had built on the civilisation founded by Europeans before them. In addition, "those who built the pyramids are among our grandfathers". These examples showed that "civilisation is one".

The Grand Mufti denied there is such a thing as "Holy war", telling the gathered MEPs that there is only "Holy Peace". However, completely missing from the EU's own reporting was the warning Dr. Hassoun has for the Netherlands (NL):

Should it come to riots, bloodshed and violence after broadcating the Quran movie by PVV-leader Geert Wilders, then Wilders will be responsible.

This was said by the Grand Mufti of Syria, Ahmad Badr Al-Din Hassoun, Tuesday in teh European Parliament, where he gave a speech at the invitation of the fraction presidents.

If Wilders tears up or burn a Quran in his film 'this will simply mean he is inciting wars and bloodshed. And he will be responsible', according to te Grand Mufti.

Al Hassoun thinks it is 'the responsibility of the Dutch people to stop Wilders'.

Which comes down to a case of blackmail against the Netherlands, in direct contradiction to the 'peaceful' nature of the Grand Mufti's speech as reported by the EP's own site, doesn't?

Why was this primitive loudmouth allowed to address the EP in the first place? And why wasn't he taken to task anout the persecution of Christians and others of a faith not islam in Syria and the ME at large? It speaks volumes about the EUnions dedication to freedom (none) that the entire parliament enthusiatically applauded a speaker that made some not very veiled threats against one of the EU member states, one of the founding states, even. No protests, just a gushing report on the speech, glossing over the less refined passages in it. Mustn't offend the Mufti, you see. Appeasement, that is what matters.

Can we leave yet?
