Please Keep Bubby in Your Prayers

To Everyone Who Reads This Posts: PLease keep my cat, Bubby in your prayers. He was shot with a bb gun and kicked on his right side on May 23 of this year. He suffered a broken femur, broken ribs, collapsed lung and a hernia. He had surgery and $3,400 dollars later seemed to be on the mend. This morning he began vomiting and collapsed. Took him to the emergency vet and they are running a bunch of tests to try and determine what is going on. Estimated cost: $850.00 - $1,100. Just got a call and the vet thinks it may involve his liver or pancreas. I am heart broken and sick. I ask everyone to say a little prayer for his recovery and for the means for us to pay for these unexpected costs. I haven't worked since the beginning of May and money is tight. Thank you.

Thank you all for your support. My first 4th of July in Pa. and I miss my brother and sister. My brother, Mike found out he has bladder cancer right before Easter and my sister had her third back surgery since Nov. a couple of weeks ago. I guess I'm having a pity party tonight. It's times like these that I wish my folks were still around. Sent hubby and daughter off to see fireworks without me. I wasn't interested in the least Will post with update and thanks again.

Steelerbabe.......I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. That is bad that happened. I know cats and dogs can seem like children. I've had a cat around for 42 years and out of that I had to have 1 put to sleep because he caught FIV from the needle the vet used. Just about killed me. I'd had that cat for 9 years and I cried like a baby. That's when I got this one I have now. I've had her 14 years and she is getting old and feeble. I dread it. My prayers are with you and hope your cat makes it ok and has a full recovery. Happy 4th of July.

    SteelerBabe,

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat! What type of a mean person would shoot an animal with a bb or other gun and kick them on top. Either one is malicious! I hope you find out who (or as in plural) who were responsible.

I'm sorry to hear about other family tradedies too.

    steelerbabe,

I am so sorry to hear about Bubby and I pray he has a full recovery. I am an animal lover and fanatic for cats: I am four female cats and they are my joy. I can imagine how you feel as I have lost cats before. Have faith and be sure you are in my thoughts and in my prayers.

    Steelerbabe,

Very sorry someone would do something so cruel to your cat. I hope he pulls through. I have several cats myself and know how attached you can get to your pets.

Sbabe, I know how you feel....I love animals. Have 3 cats, an Irish Setter and a mini schnauzer....I have lost many good fuzzy friends, and I know the pain....they are all, my kids.

Bubby will be in my prayers also.
