It's my hope that one of the moderators will post William's post from a month or two ago that specifically said the general discussion forum was for immigration related discussions and post. He was very clear in his post. Too bad you weren't paying attention.

To my knowledge the policy has always been that way. However, I will confess the forum was getting out of control a while back with a bunch of non-immigration related topics. That's why I suspect William clarified the issue with his post. It was getting to the point where non-immigration post and discussions were pushing the immigration related ones to the next page way to quickly. After all, this is an illegal immigration website. Most of us recognize that and that's the issue that brought us here.

For discussions and news that are not on the topic of illegal immigration and immigration.

I'm sure you do. I saw the memo that was circulated and thought "how strange is that", my threads had been moved for over a year before the memo came around. I didn't say anything about it, because I knew what was behind it, but it's confusing and I hope it gets corrected so things return to normal when we had lots of poster posting about all types of related political events and inter-related issues and many more guests reading them, which is the "healthy discussion" William seeks in his last urging for people to be more active on the forums. Just my two cents.

Things are normal and how they should be. The moderators are doing a great job in ensuring the appropriate placement of articles. It's just too bad that they have to work so hard to keep things in the proper order.

Please ONLY post IMMIGRATION related news in General Discussion

I just moved a bunch a posts about the tax bill, N. Korea, Hillary Clinton and all sorts of stuff that have no relationship to immigratioin and immigration related issues like DACA, Roy Moore's race, Twitter censorship, etc...


Please post off topic material in the Other Topics section and only post materials related to immigration and things you find in ALIPAC's announcements section here in General Discussion.
