    Cordwood Masonry Home!

    how to build ---> http://diycozyhome.com/diy-cordwood-masonry-homes/

    I love discovering creative ways that people are building homes! This would also be great on just a small scale to build a small shed in the backyard too. Anyone here tried this technique??

    Bloomin Onion!

    recipe here ---> http://diycozyhome.com/outback-steak...-onion-recipe/

    If you have ever been to Outback Steak House then you know about the bloomin onion. It's a real eye catcher every time a waiter brings one down the isle. Now you can make it at home! Yummmm

    DIY Rock Candy!

    how to make ---> http://diycozyhome.com/homemade-rock-candy-tutorial/

    This is one of the coolest home science projects you can do with your kiddos. I can remember being totally fascinated by a little home crystal science kit when I was 7. This is just as cool and you can do it with what you already have in the house!

    Milk Jug Flower Luminaries!

    how to make ---> http://diycozyhome.com/milk-jug-flower-luminaries/

    How cute are these luminaries made from milk jugs?! The only thing I would do different is use electric tea lights instead of real candles... might end up warping the shape of the flower if there's too much heat.

    TOOLBOX FOR THE APOCALYPSE

    LISTS

    Well, this is really a list
    for anyone with a desire to fill a toolbox. But since this site is about societal collapse, I’m calling it the toolbox for the apocalypse. This list have a few items you wouldn’t use every day but might come in handy post-apocalypse (like an anvil and blacksmith hammer). And there are some items that you’d want to stock up on in bulk, as you likely won’t be able to get them anymore after TEOTWAWKI (like duct tape and propane tanks for your blow torch). Feel free to comment if you see anything I’ve missed.

    · screwdrivers (phillips, flat, torx, square/robertson)
    · pliers (slip-joint, groove joint, needle nose, cutter)
    · wrenches (open end and box, adjustable set, pipe)
    · hex key set
    · hammers (claw, ball pein, blacksmith, short sledgehammer, long sledgehammer, mallet)
    · anvil
    · blow torch (stock up on propane cylinders, striker and flints)
    · soldering iron and solder
    · socket set
    · vise grips
    · punch set
    · chisel set
    · file set
    · saws (hand saw and hack saw, extra blades)
    · axe (sharpener)
    · wedge
    · pry bar
    · bolt cutter
    · tape measure
    · level
    · spokeshave
    · drawknife
    · bit brace and drill bits
    · utility knife and blades
    · staple gun
    · assorted nails, screws, nuts, bolts, and washers
    · electrical tape
    · duct tape
    · pull ties
    · rope and twine
    · WD-40
    · shop towels
    · work gloves and grip gloves
    · protective eyewear
    · O’Keeffe’s Working Hands Cream (an absolute necessity for my dry cracking hands)
