Freedom Broadcasting Network | Spreading the message of freedom and liberty one broadcast at a time!

Brandon Cullison- FBN, In just under 48 hours results will be coming in from all over the country, as Super Tuesday is among the most important days of the primary election season–and it’s coming up!

Primaries and caucuses will are being held in states including Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, Massachusetts, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Vermont, and Virginia.

Super Tuesday will be a pivoting moment for each of the campaigns, we’ll see if former speaker Newt Gingrich or former Senator of Pennsylvania Rick Santorum will pull off any wins on Tuesday–if not, we could see a drop-outs. In Particulare the former Speaker really needs a strong showing. Of course, we know that Dr. Ron Paul will stay in for the long haul. The Congressman from Texas counts on racking up as many delegates as he can get, and on that front–it is looking very good.

The Ron Paul campaign will be holding an event tomorrow, March 5th, at the University of Idaho which will be broadcast live on FBN 3pm Pacific. Turnouts for recent events for Dr. Paul include a recent one in Vancouver, WA

Of course Dr. Paul couldn’t let them go home without getting what they came for–so he went out with his megaphone and gave them a good speech as well.

It is looking very good for Rep. Paul in states like Alaska, North Dakota, and even Idaho–Ron Paul is expected to do very well there. Which of course, the MSM will likely not mention, “Romney gets knocked to second, dropping Santorum down to 3rd!” Freedom Broadcasting Network will are coverage starting at 2PM MST. FBN will stream in high quality definition with commentary from all over the world. So, if you want some reasonable, honest coverage of Super-Tuesday, please remember to tune in to FBN!

End the Republican Party; start the Ron Paul Party

By Bernie Quigley - 03/05/12 08:32 AM ET

Conrad Black, the conservative editor of the New York Sun, says the first words Fidel Castro has ever uttered that he has agreed with are those recently published on his blog in which he opined that the current Republican race is one of the most inane and stupid events in modern world history. George Will says they should just let it go until 2016. And the editors of The Washington Post say Republicans can no longer avoid their Limbaugh problem.

Good news for President Obama, who remains at 60 percent at Intrade. Indeed, they may begin to ask if there will even be a 2016 for Republicans. The constant rant from Limbaugh and his mindless others on the radio waves suggest the tailwind of a lost cause, like the bitter wind that persisted following the Civil War with Nathan Bedford Forrest and the Ku Klux Klan, and the Brown Shirts after World War I.

The beginning of wisdom, said William F. Buckley Jr., quoted by Will in the weekend Post, is “fear of the Lord.” Maybe, but not my experience. That, I think, is the problem with the current batch of Republicans formed by Buckley and Will: They see the wrath before they see the glory. They enter life by way of the shadow. Now, I question whether their shadow play can survive. But the Pauls seem different.

Consider that we see actual conservatism with the rise of Ron Paul like we have never seen it here before since Kennedy, since before Roosevelt, since ever.

The beginning of a new conservative period rises today and Ron Paul and son Rand have by now institutionalized the new thinking and it will not go away as it is the rising political culture of the young, and it makes sense. Forget about 2012 and 2016 and start a new party. Call it something else; the Conservative Party or the Federalist Party. It will help explain what these words mean again, or maybe for the first time.

If Obama wins, he will bide his time. The mainstream establishment featuring Jeb Bush, his ready sidekick Chris Christie and the Weekly Standard crew immediately stage their 2016 comeback but are ignored. History has passed them by in 2012. A new conservative youth culture arises featuring Ron Paul, constitutional government, state sovereignty and regional rights and responsibility. Rand Paul/Judge Napolitano 2016 awaken a new American era and it runs the century.

Rand Paul on Why Santorum is Wrong About Everything

This CNN interview is two months old, but back when Rick Santorum became the flavor of the week the first time Sen. Rand Paul gave a laundry list of Santorum’s many offenses including his seeming eagerness for war with Iran.

It’s also worth noting here as a reminder of Santorum’s true political nature, that when Paul was running for the Senate in 2010 Santorum endorsed Paul’s GOP primary opponent, the choice of the party establishment. Jim DeMint and Sarah Palin wanted a true conservative to win that race and endorsed Rand Paul. Santorum opposed them in this effort. Today we are to believe that Santorum’s “Tea Party?” or “anti-establishment?” Yeah right.

    Romney’s National Healthcare Mandate

Writes The American Spectator’s James Antle:

We’ve read many confident assurances, in Ann Coulter columns and elsewhere, that Mitt Romney never intended his Massachusetts health care plan to be a national model and never supported unconstitutional federal individual mandates. This 2009 USA Today op-ed, written at the height of the Obamacare debate, is the latest piece of evidence suggesting that this isn’t exactly true.
With the subheadline “Obama could learn a thing or two about health care reform in Massachusetts,” Romney had this to say about mandates:
Our experience also demonstrates that getting every citizen insured doesn’t have to break the bank. First, we established incentives for those who were uninsured to buy insurance. Using tax penalties, as we did, or tax credits, as others have proposed, encourages “free riders” to take responsibility for themselves rather than pass their medical costs on to others. This doesn’t cost the government a single dollar.
Tax penalities, what a beautiful choice. But Peter Suderman pointed out in his Reason profile of Romney that this is hardly the only example of the candidate suggesting Romneycare could go national.
During his first presidential primary campaign, Romney enthusiastically touted the plan’s national possibilities. “We have to have our citizens insured, and we’re not going to do that by tax exemptions, because the people that don’t have insurance aren’t paying taxes,” he said at an Iowa debate in August 2007. “What you have to do is what we did in Massachusetts. Is it perfect? No. But we say, let’s rely on personal responsibility, help people buy their own private insurance, get our citizens insured, not with a government takeover, not with new taxes needed, but instead with a free-market-based system that gets all of our citizens in the system. No more free rides. It works.”

In October of that year, Romney told the Republican Jewish Coalition: “I think we’ll be successful nationwide. My plan, by the way, allows every citizen in America to get health insurance.” Asked by CNN’s John King at the time whether RomneyCare was a good model for the nation, he responded with a big grin, “Well, I think so.”

Ron Paul Endorsed By Vermont State Rep. Adam Howard

Lamoille County Rep. says of Paul: “What I like most about Dr. Paul? He doesn’t run from his voting record. He doesn’t have to. He’s honest.”

LAKE JACKSON, Texas – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul was endorsed today by Vermont State Representative Adam Howard (R-Cambridge). Representing the Lamoille-4 District, Rep. Howard serves an area encompassing Belvidere, Waterville, and Cambridge in Lamoille County.

In making his public endorsement, Rep. Howard issued the following statement:
“If it weren’t for Ron Paul I wouldn’t be in the Vermont Legislature.

“His message is so powerful to young people like me because he thinks like a young person. He proved to me that there is hope for the Republican Party: That there is hope for personal responsibility, liberty, and independence. These are rock-ribbed Vermont values.

“As a 7th generation Vermonter whose roots go back through the Revolutionary War to the Mayflower, independence and personal liberty are at the heart of everything I do, from work to play to politics. Dr. Paul gets that. He understands that freedom to pursue one’s dreams requires restrained government spending and low taxes.

“Ron Paul is the only candidate from either party equipped with the intelligence and courage to make the tough calls to cut spending, be they eliminating wasteful federal agencies or bringing our troops home now.

“We all want the same things: good health, well paying jobs, affordability, opportunity. Dr. Paul’s solutions get at the heart of all of this. Young people just want a shot. They don’t want a handout. They want opportunity.

“What I like most about Dr. Paul? He doesn’t run from his voting record. He doesn’t have to. He’s honest.”

Second term Vermont State Representative Adam Howard, 38, sits on the influential Transportation Committee in the Vermont State House of Representatives. In the left-leaning state of Vermont his message of fiscal-conservatism and person liberty netted him 64 percent of the vote in his mountain district.

“Growing up in Vermont, I learned skills that have helped me in life, business, and public service,” Howard says. “My daughters are the eighth generation of my family on our farm. I ran to make sure that they’ll have an opportunity to stay here as adults if they so choose.”

Howard is CEO of Height of Land Publications (HOL). The Jeffersonville, Vermont-based company provides 18 well-paying jobs and has grown to publish Backcountry, Kronicle and Alpinist magazines and their corresponding websites and social media efforts. His pursuit of business and the outdoors has not been at the expense of his community where he was a founding member and first president of the Cambridge Historical Society and the Brewster River Mountain Bike Club.

Rep. Howard is currently vice-chair of the Development Review Board. He spearheads the Cambridge Area Rotary Club’s Winter Wellness Days furthering his efforts to get Lamoille County youth active and healthy. He lives off the grid in his solar and wind-powered home with wife Holly and daughters Hazel and Antonia.

Providing a strong boost to Ron Paul’s Vermont State organization, such endorsements present Ron Paul as the conservative alternative to Mitt Romney. They also demonstrate that the 12-term Congressman from Texas has the only campaign organization capable of maintaining a 50-state competition with the moderate-establishment Romney.
