A warning from afar: "America is globally ignorant"

Submitted by jordie on Thu, 03/15/2012 - 00:53 Ron Paul 2012

"America is globally ignorant. They use military force to obtain control, while China gains influence through trade and negotiation."

This is what my lecturer stated in a recent lecturer. This was an International Business subject in Australia.

He went on... (now this following bit is paraphrased)

"America uses force throughout the world and overextends its military to the point of bankruptcy.

The Chinese stick to their boundaries and trade with other nations and their economy is booming."

America is not in a good place my friends. Unless things change, you guys are in for a rough ride.

The next generation of global business professionals are being taught that America is not a globally aware nation and that investment in stable countries with clear agendas such as China, Brazil or Russia is the way forward. We're being taught that the growth nations are not those exerting their military prowess, but rather those that are breaking down their trade and economic barriers and open up to other nations.

We're being taught that it will most likely be sooner rather than later that trading between BRIC nations (Brazil, Russia, India and China) will be in RMB (Chinese Currency, the Yuan) rather than USD as their economic power increases and America's decreases.

The path America is currently on is not sustainable and the rest of the world already recognizes this. It's just down to you guys now.

Ron Paul Needs A Major Sports Stadium Rally!

We need to convince Ron Paul to rent out a large sports arena or stadium like Romney did in Michigan(what an embarrassment that was for him by the way, I think it was only about 200 or so that showed up, so sad) Maybe this could happen in a state like California or Texas? Tonight's rally in Illinois was awesome, but I think it can be BIGGER! I have no doubt in my mind Ron could fill up a 30,000+ stadium in a major city with no problem!! People would drive for miles/hours to see him. I can picture him now, standing on the pitcher's mound addressing the massive audience and promoting his message of peace and liberty! I will be sending an email to his campaign tonight with this suggestion so lets hope this works. Let's show the MSM who has written him off that he HAS been and STILL is, a major force to be reckoned with and will be our next POTUS!

Ron Paul Attracts 1,500-plus Voters to Giant Outdoor Town Hall Meeting in Missouri

‘Champion of the Constitution’ finds ample support among The Show-Me State’s voters as county-level Republican nominating caucuses are happening

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – 2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul attracted today a remarkable 1,500-plus supporters and undecided voters to an outdoor town hall meeting held in Missouri.

Dr. Paul’s campus town hall meeting was held at 12:00 p.m. CST on the Carnahan Quadrangle – The South Quad at the University of Missouri, located on Missouri Avenue in Columbia, MO 65211. The 12-term Congressman from Texas spoke to the crowd on issues ranging from maintaining the enduring ties that bind economic and civil liberties, the wrongheaded Washington policy of weakening the U.S. dollar through Federal Reserve activism, and elements of his path-breaking ‘Plan to Restore America,’ an economic blueprint that if enacted will pull America out of its longstanding economic doldrums.

The Mizzou event occurred on the heels of last night’s University of Illinois campus town hall meeting that drew an incredible 4,600-plus supporters and undecided voters. Both events were organized by ‘Youth for Ron Paul’ (YFP), an initiative of the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential campaign. Since ‘Youth for Ron Paul’ launched in September 2011, students nationwide have organized 583 chapters and recruited more than 46,000 people. To learn more about ‘Youth for Ron Paul’ including how to sign-up and establish a local chapter, visit the YFP website by clicking here.

Pictures of Ron Paul’s Mizzou campus town hall meeting with 1,500-plus people follow.

Thousands Turn Out for President Paul in Missouri Today

    Ron Paul 2012
    Missouri

Ron addressed several thousand this afternoon on the University of Missouri campus. As always, his speech was peppered with words and phrases you'll never hear from the other candidates, or the incumbent, or the mainstream media: the Patriot Act is the "Repeal the Fourth Amendment Act"; Washington is full of "warmongers" and "tyrants"; a preemptive strike is "a fancy word for starting a war"; another candidate is a "theocrat"; tolerance consists of "allowing people to do things you don't approve of, and letting them bear the consequences", etc.

Ron Paul Draws Massive Crowd Of 5000 In Illinois

Campaign forced to move event to arena as thousands turn up; rivals draw crowds of less than 100

    Steve Watson
    Infowars.com
    March 15, 2012

GOP presidential contender Ron Paul continues to draw massive crowds as he campaigns across the country. Yesterday saw almost five thousand people turn out in Illinois to see the Congressman, while his rivals can only draw crowds in and below the hundreds.

Paul’s supporters will once again be asking serious questions as to where his rivals are getting their votes from, as another raucous mass of humanity provided the Congressman with a rock star welcome.

The original venue of Foellinger Auditorium, around a 1500 capacity building at The University of Illinois, had to be switched to George Huff Hall, a gymnastics and volleyball arena, following a deluge of early RSVPs.

As he introduced Paul, Illinois Republican Rep. Tim Johnson told the crowd that they were part of the single biggest turnout of Paul’s 2012 campaign to date.

Temperatures reached 80 degrees outside, yet the un-air conditioned Huff Hall was bursting with supporters who boisterously chanted “President Paul” over and over.

Paul spoke for around 45 minutes on a host of issues including The Federal Reserve, the IRS, The Patriot Act, and even the issue of students being able to choose their own mascots.

“The Patriot Act never would have been passed,” Paul urged, “if it had been called ‘Repeal the Fourth Amendment’!”

The Congressman also told the huge crowd that since the current administration passed laws by executive orders, a “constitutional president can use an executive order to repeal those laws.”

“We have a reasonably good constitution,” Paul added. “It’s just — we need to use it once in a while.”

Of course, the event was not covered by ANY mainstream media sources. As we reported yesterday, the last embedded reporter covering Ron Paul was reassigned this week.

The Washington Post, meanwhile, was covering a Newt Gingrich event not too far away in Rosemont, Illinois. Seventy, yes 70, people showed up, prompting the reporter to write “There were all the trappings of a campaign event, except one — the supporters.”

“A half-hour before the event started, only one woman was seated in the ballroom; most of the chairs remained stacked at the sides of the hall.” the report stated.

Earlier in the week, Mitt Romney drew a handful of supporters to a small park in St. Louis, complete with adventure fun slide and swings.

And these were the scenes at the weekend at Rick Santorum’s Kansas town hall meeting where 150 people showed up.

The reality is clear – Ron Paul has a dedicated mass of grassroots popular support, while the other candidates are relying solely on media bias and establishment backing to get ahead.
