Violence Explodes In Iraq … Again
By fitsnews • on January 5, 2012
Still think Ron Paul’s foreign policy views are kooky?
Two weeks after a deadly wave of bombings killed 63 people in Baghdad, warring religious sects in Iraq are once again blowing each other up. Well, it’s more likely that al-Qaeda in Iraq is blowing people up – hoping to incite sectarian violence.
A suicide bombing targeting Shiite Muslims in Nasiriya, Iraq killed at least 36 people, while dozens of others perished in a series of bombings in Baghdad. According to the Associated Press, at least 72 people are dead as a result of the coordinated attacks.
“Our guess is that this is the first of many attacks to come,” we wrote after the initial round of explosions on December 22.
Of course we didn’t expect such a speedy, widespread resumption of the terror campaign.
The bombings come in the wake of U.S. President Barack Obama’s decision to pull all remaining U.S. troops out of Iraq – ending an eight-and-a-half year war that was based on sketchy intelligence and no clear objective or exit strategy.
A total of 4,484 U.S. soldiers died in Iraq. Meanwhile 1,857 U.S. soldiers have died in Afghanistan – 1,227 of them within the last three years.
“We don’t particularly care if Iraq’s ‘democracy’ survives,” we wrote last month. “It’s not America’s job to make the world safe for democracy, it’s America’s job to keep this Republic (or what’s left of it) safe from attack. Pardon our isolationist insensitivity, but these warring sects can detonate themselves into oblivion for all we care – as long as our troops aren’t getting caught in the crossfire.”
Yes it’s a damn shame that anyone, anywhere in the world is being targeted for obliteration as a result of their religion – but unless there is a clear and present danger to the national security of the United States resulting from the terror, it’s just not something America should get involved in militarily.
In fact we should celebrate the one silver lining of this tragedy … the fact that none of our soldiers were blown up for a change

Establishment GOP Insider Admitted to Plan to Subvert Iowa Caucus In Order to Prevent Ron Pauls Win
January 5, 2011
The day before the Iowa Caucus an establishment GOP insider openly admitted to a plan to subvert votes away from Ron Paul by swaying large voter blocks to vote for Romney or Santorum.
Sadly this appears to have actually happened, with tens of thousands of votes for Rick Santorum coming out of no where and moving Ron Paul into third place which in turn moved him out of most major news headlines.
This fact, coupled with the revelations that in many places throughout Iowa NO voter id card was required to vote, makes the results of yesterdays caucus very suspicious.
We will continue to research this ongoing situation and will be publishing a much more in depth report in the near future.

Former CIA Head Of Bin Laden Unit: Iowans Should Vote Paul For Safer America
January 3, 2012 by Sam Rolley
Michael Scheuer is a renowned foreign policy expert who spent decades working to make the United States safer from Islamic terrorists.
The former CIA member who was, until his resignation in 2004, in charge of the unit that tracked Osama bin Laden said recently on his website that Ron Paul was Iowans’ only choice.
Michael Scheuer, a renowned foreign policy expert who spent decades working to make the United States safer from Islamic terrorists, wrote in a post that a vote for any candidate but Paul is a vote for American bankruptcy, U.S. efforts to destabilize more nations, billions of foreign aid spending in countries involved in Arab Spring revolts, widespread Islamic terror attacks on the United States, war with Iran and a continued and growing reliance on Mideast oil.
An excerpt from Scheuer’s endorsement reads:
Notwithstanding the damnable lies about Dr. Paul’s foreign policy constantly proclaimed by his fellow Republican candidates, leading pro-Israel/pro-intervention U.S.-citizens and their journalist friends, and most of the media, only the gentleman from Texas speaks for the Founder’s non-interventionist vision of America’s role in world affairs and for plain common sense. In the Founders’ non-interventionist design for U.S. foreign policy that is championed by Dr. Paul, Iowans will find a proven road to the maintenance of America’s sovereignty, independence, peace, and prosperity. In the realm of common sense, Dr. Paul beats his fellow candidates, the Obamaites, and the media hands down. Dr. Paul challenges the interventionists in both parties on their plans for spreading secular democracy — and causing wars thereby — on historical grounds that are irrefutable because they are just good commonsense. We, the British, the Australians, and the Canadians have been building our republics/democracies since Magna Charta in 1215 — that is for nearly 800 years — and we are not yet quite perfect. If Iowans and all Americans truly think about what Dr. Paul is saying — and not what the interventionists say he is saying — they would respond favorably to the Texan’s logical conclusion that what we have not fully accomplished in eight centuries cannot possibly be attained in Egypt, Afghanistan, or elsewhere in the Muslim world in 6 weeks, 6 months, or six years, not least because none of those places separate church from state. The Paul campaign said that the endorsement from a former CIA official who has witnessed firsthand the effects of U.S. military adventurism in the Mideast should reshape discussion about Paul’s foreign policy beliefs.
