    Looking at the liberty movement now that the charades are officially over we can all within reason come to one conclusion about this election. The movement which has been under-reported, marginalized, attacked relentlessly has prevailed in shaking the establishment to its rotten core.

    The two headed beast which is the two party system is a wounded animal. The curtain of corruption has been lifted. The politically active and informed now are fully aware of the careful choreography played between the national media, the national press and its minion surrogates. We are aware that the charlatan pawns were lined up against Dr. Paul from the start in a strategy of "divide and conquer", most notably as Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, Rick Perry, and others. There presence on the stage was nothing more than an obfuscation of the truth. An obfuscation of the only message of constitutional liberty that was worth presenting to the American Electorate.

    We now know with overwhelming evidence that the electronic voting machines were rigged for Mitt Romney. The establishment fought hard to stop our momentum early on with the fake primary wins, and the media playing along with their dutiful parts to confuse the public, but the delegates still managed to shine through all the corruption. We now know that the primary states that Romney won with the electronic vote flipping were one hundred percent fraudulent. Some states reported thousands of dead people voting, other states reporting massive in-congruence in vote totals between the precincts and the final tally's. We now are aware of the absolute fraud at the national convention by not seating the duly elected Ron Paul delegates designed to prevent Dr Ron Paul from speaking.

    As the movement sits at home and debates over the future, how to define that future, and where we move from here I think we should all do one thing that will remind the citizens of this once great country that we will never forget how this travesty unfolded. We owe this to all the future generations. We owe them the truth, and only WE can prevent history to be written by a select elite. We can show them that "We The People" still have the power through ideas to sculpt our own future. I think in our writing to others, in our emails, in our articles, in any media events where we have a voice we can claim what is rightfully ours, and that is to refer to Dr Ronald Earnest Paul as President Paul. He deserves that, and far more importantly History deserves to know the truth. History is written by the victors. If we look at this objectively Mitt Romney and the RNC/GOP elite had to cheat at every corner to secure this win for Mitt Romney, that is not victory, that is cheating. Let us unite behind this idea as it is the truth. Dr. Paul is my President as he indeed had the real support of the average American people. The Washington establishment has abdicated it's responsibility, they are no longer representing the American people nor are they representing the Constitution of the United States of America. It is our duty to continue to speak truth to power.

    We The People are the last defenders of truth, and Dr. Ron Paul is my President!

    Iranian Currency Falls 17% in One Day

    Sanctions against Iran are making their impact, on the innocent working-class people of Iran--and the destruction of the currency may be getting a boost from the CIA.

    International trade is dying and the currency is in free fall. It fell 17% this morning. The rial has lost more than 80 percent of its value since the start of the year.

    I am also hearing that the CIA may be pumping newly (CIA printed) rial into the country in an effort to destabilize the country through hyper-inflation. The Fed may think money printing boosts an economy, but the CIA knows what it really does.

    Ron Paul is an Official Write-In Candidate...in Maine

    Election 2012

    Maine

    I received word this morning that Ron Paul is an official write in candidate in Maine. Pretty cool, huh! Maine did everything they needed to do to get him on the ballot and they also got a Vice President on the ballot. They were even able to get the 4 electors who will go to the electoral college if Ron Paul were to win Maine.

    You can see it here: http://www.maine.gov/sos/cec/elec/2012/writeinnov2012.pdf

    So, if you are in Maine, you can write in Ron Paul for President and Mark Willis for Vice President. Mark Willis is Maine’s new national committeeman.

    I think it would just be great if Ron Paul won Maine in November. Most likely it won’t make a difference in the general election, but at least Maine could send a message to the Nation as to who we really want as President. If only we all could move to Maine just for November.

    You can also hear a short radio broadcast about this at this link: http://www.hark.com/clips/lrqqyjpygy-ronpaulmaine

    New Hampshire Republicans Defy the Establishment

    Submitted by cevans93 on Mon, 10/01/2012 - 22:31
    New Hampshire

    The New Hampshire Republican Convention was held over the weekend, and a resolution rebuking the national GOP for the rules changes in Tampa was passed. This is amazing. Read the text of the resolution:

    "Yesterday, the, the New Hampshire Republican Party, after an afternoon of spirited floor fights, voted to accept a new State Party Platform after 20 proposed amendments were debated. However, the most remarkable event was yet to come. In the closing minutes of the Convention, the GOP delegates passed the following Resolution by an overwhelming voice vote in a sharp rebuke to the national GOP:

    =====

    RESOLUTION TO RESTORE THE POWER OF THE GOP GRASSROOTS

    Whereas, the new party rules at the Republican National Convention in Tampa were adopted under questionable circumstances with disregard for convention rules;

    Whereas, the new rules impose a top-down structure of governance in place of the party's traditional bottom-up structure and reduce the power and autonomy of state and local party organizations;

    Whereas, the changes to Rule 12 give unprecedented power to the national committee to change party rules without the input and approval of state parties and their members;

    Whereas, it is to benefit of the New Hampshire Republican Party that First in the Nation rules not be open to change between conventions;

    Therefore, be it resolved that:

    We condemn Rule 12 as antithetical to Republican values and assert the primacy of the delegates to the Republican Convention in setting party rules;

    We reject the new top-down structure of governance as detrimental to the long-term success of the Republican Party.

    ====

    It seems the "First in the Nation" State Republican Party has taken a courageous (and possibly unprecedented) step to reclaim the GOP for the grass roots. The vote, which some observers believe may have been as many as 90 percent of those present, reflects the growing influence of the Republican Liberty movement in New Hampshire. It is sure to spark controversy and healthy discussion. I wonder if other States will soon follow suit?"

    "What can I do to get you to vote for Romney?" *Updated*

    Ask DP

    So at our county central committee last night I was commenting about how the Romney campaign had shot themselves in the foot by the way they treated the RP Republicans.

    Later a lady came up to me and told me how desperate she was to get our votes for Romney. "I don't think our country can survive another four years of Obama as president!"

    I told her that she was asking a lot of RP Republicans to expect them to turn around and support someone whose campaign had virtually spit in their faces in Tampa and subsequently seemed content to treat us like we didn't exist.

    "But what can I do, as an INDIVIDUAL, to win their votes?", she asked.

    That had me stumped. I know there were a lot of things I could have said.

    I could have told her that she should have been listening to the RP Republicans last January when we were telling her that Ron Paul was the only candidate that could beat Obama.

    I could have told her a lot of similar "I told you so's".

    But to really answer her question, I was stumped.

    I told her I would get back to her.

    What should I tell the lady?

    Tell her to write to Romney and ask him to start chanting "End the Fed!" at his next rally? Tell him to renounce the new anti-grassroots RNC rules? Tell him to announce that he is no longer going to play ball with the Bilderbergers/CFR/military-industrial-Wall Street complex?

    Tell her to forget about it and worry about getting our congressman elected?

    I know there is no perfect answer to a question like this. The question itself shows that she doesn't understand the nature of our political situation.

    So what should I tell her? What should my message from the RP community be?

    =============== UPDATE ===========

    Thank you for all of your sincere (and sometimes amusing) comments.

    I am sorry I have not had time to read or comment on all of them individually.

    Here is my lame but sincere attempt to try to help her (and some of my other committee members)to see the situation through our eyes and maybe get her to help us move the GOP in a positive direction.

    "Dear Central Committee Member,

    In answer to a question I received at our meeting Monday night (i.e. "What could I do as an individual to persuade Ron Paul Republicans to vote for Romney?"), I think this article might hold part of the answer.

    Letters: Conventional Wisdom and Rejection of GOP 'Top-Down' Structure

    Ron Paul supporters are an eclectic bunch of individualists who are motivated more by principle than by leadership, even Ron Paul's. I think that is one reason why Ron Paul did not bother to endorse anyone running for president this year. He knew they wouldn't have listened to him anyway.

    (By the way, that fact alone should debunk the myth that Ron Paul supporters are in any way a "cult". Whoever heard of a cult where the "exalted leader" can't even order his "followers" to do something as simple as vote for a certain candidate? Think about it.)

    Assuming that we can't get Mitt to denounce the disgusting new RNC rules, the next best thing would be to have the grassroots Republicans show some backbone and do it for him.

    I know this might seem like a petty issue to many in the GOP. Many of you think the world is going to come to an end if Obama is re-elected. Obviously swing voters are NOT going to share that viewpoint. While many Democrats and Independents are disappointed by Obama's failure to distinguish himself from George Bush on civil rights and foreign wars; the RP Republicans and liberty-leaning Independents are just as disappointed in Romney for his failure to distinguish himself from Obama.

    As much as they loathe the prospect of FOUR more years of Obama, they are just as fearful of EIGHT more years of a Bush-style presidency (continual expansion of the "imperial" executive branch, endless foreign wars justified by "American Exceptionalism", skyrocketing national debt caused by blank checks written to the Industrial-Military-Wall Street complex, more liberal social engineering like "No Child Left Behind" or encouraging banks to make bad mortgages to minorities, more erosion of our constitutional rights in the name of "national security",more nation-building and policing the world in the name of U.N. resolutions, more budget-busting, socialism like the Medicaid Part D Prescription program and the TARP bailouts).

    Why?

    Because the only thing worse than a president like Obama is a president like Obama with an "(R)" behind his name.

    Because when a president has an "(R)" behind his name, all of our defenses go down.
    Because the Limbaughs and Hannitys and O'Reillys all stop becoming critics and start becoming cheerleaders.

    Because no matter how badly the president behaves in office, no matter how many conservative principles he betrays, no matter how many campaign promises he forgets, no matter how many GOP platform planks he ignores; he is STILL the "leader of the GOP", and we fall in rank behind him.

    So how can you convince a Ron Paul Republican to vote for Romney?

    Convince him that you aren't going to let the Republican Party continue to be a rubber stamp for the elite political insiders.

    Convince him that you aren't going to roll over and play dead in four years if Romney behaves like a Republican In Name Only.

    Convince him that the good Republicans are fed up with having our most important decisions made in smoke-filled rooms by a handful of party bosses and confirmed by a pep rally (scripted on a teleprompter) disguised as a political convention.

    Convince him that Republicans are ready to take control of their own party, instead of following their leaders like sheep to the slaughter.

    You might want to start by convincing him that the REPUBLICAN PARTY is not a cult; that we have minds and principles of our own.

    Judge Napolitano: Why Taxation is Theft, Abortion is Murder, & Gov't is Dangerous

    Uploaded by
    ReasonTV on Nov 22, 2011

    "I'll say this plainly, I've said it before - Taxation is theft. It presumes the government has a higher claim on our property than we do," says Judge Andrew Napolitano, the host of Fox Business' Freedom Watch and the author of the new book, It Is Dangerous to Be Right When the Government Is Wrong: The Case for Personal Freedom.

    Reason's Nick Gillespie sat down with the outspoken libertarian commentator to discuss topics ranging from abortion (the judge is fiercely pro-life) to Occupy Wall Street (he welcomes the protest against corporatism) to Rep. Ron Paul ("the Barry Goldwater" of our moment) to the role of religion in the quest for freedom.

    NV Republican Party Censures NV Delegation: Delegation Chairman Responds

    Submitted by NVSnoCone on Wed, 10/03/2012 - 00:03
    Daily Paul Liberty Forum
    Nevada

    The Nevada Republican Party (NRP) Executive Board passed a censure of the Nevada Delegation Chairman, Wayne Terhune, and of the Nevada Delegates who chose to unbind.

    Before passing this censure, the NRP E-Board did not contact the Delegation Chairman to find out "his side" of the story. In fact, they did not even officially notify him that the censure was passed. It is only common decency that a person be allowed to answer accusations leveled against them before judgement is passed. However, the NRP E-Board did not allow my father, Wayne Terhune, that opportunity.

    So, he is now responding to the censure here. We sincerely ask that all Nevada Republicans allow him to make his case before condemning his actions.
    ---------
    Nevada Republicans,

    As you may recall, I was the chairman of the Nevada delegation to the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, FL, where I made a speech that has caused some consternation. A lot of misinformation has been circulating about what actually happened at the Convention, and about the role played by myself and the other Nevada Delegates. Some of this information has come from the Nevada Republican Party and it's officers in a censure passed by the Nevada Executive Board, as well as in recent e-mails to the NRCC. I would like to set the record straight.

    If you consider yourself to be a fair-minded individual, please hear me out before passing judgement.

    I will go into more detail in a moment, but in short:

    As chairman, I was presented with an untenable situation that was foisted upon me by inconsistencies in the Nevada Caucus Binding rules. These rules forced me to make a decision that placed me in a difficult position, regardless of which direction I decided to take. In the end, after much deliberation, I chose the path that I felt best honored the rules as set by both the State and National Republican Committees.

    Contrary to common misconceptions, I did NOT...

    Break NRP binding rules.

    Encourage others to break the binding rules.

    Have any authority to enforce binding rules.

    Manipulate the delegates into any decisions or actions.

    Alter or “change” ANY delegates’ votes.

    Please allow me to explain...
