CORSICANA, Texas -- A $50,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in a hit-and-run that left a Corsicana postal worker dead.

Corsicana police said Daniel Gonzalez Rodriguez is wanted on a felony charge of failure to render aid.

The reward was announced Tuesday by the U.S. Postal Service.

Police said Gonzalez Rodriguez was driving a pickup hauling a trailer, with lumber, when the vehicle went through a red light and struck a postal vehicle.

The July 22 accident killed 37-year-old letter carrier Donnie Evett of Corsicana.

Police Chief G.M. Cox said the suspect is believed to have fled to Mexico.

Corsicana is about 50 miles southeast of Dallas.

Good money , would last a long time in a third world country .....

Never look at another flag. Remember, that behind Government, there is your country, and that you belong to her as you do belong to your own mother. Stand by her as you would stand by your own mother
