We support HB 318 and request that all members of the NC House actively support and vote for this bill to send it to the Governor's desk to protect every American job, taxpayer resource, and life possible from the negative impacts of illegal immigration. We also call on our network of national supporters to contact NC lawmakers in support of HB 318 "Protect North Carolina Workers Act."

In 2016, many of you lawmakers will be hearing voters discuss bills like HB 318 and HB 328, so before you cast a vote on either, please make sure you review the true polling data on these issues we have collected for you at this link. Super majorities of your constituents, even in heavily Democratic districts, support the kinds of measures found in HB 318 and oppose licenses for illegals found in HB 328. Even half of America's legal Hispanics want steps taken to deter illegal immigration and illegal immigrants as you can see in the polling data we provide.

By passing HB 318, you have an opportunity to send a clear message across the nation and hemisphere that North Carolina does not welcome illegal immigrants and that we are taking steps to prevent our governmental systems from being exploited by those who willfully disrespect our laws and sovereignty.


Voting for HB 318 would earn you the ire of some fringe groups and activist leaders (like William Barber) who are eager to gain power by aligning themselves with illegal immigrants, but at the same time earn you applause and support from more than 2/3 of the Americans and legal immigrants back home in your districts!

HB 318 would stop cities like Charlotte and Durham from encouraging and facilitating illegal aliens and their employers through Sanctuary City policies that increase the chances that American citizens and legal immigrants will be harmed or killed by illegals engaging in broader criminal conduct! HB 318 would decrease the use of the Matricula Consular cards the Mexican government is selling to almost anyone to help further their illegal presence in America.

It is a terrible shame that some NC lawmakers reading this request are more loyal to the employers of illegal immigrants and groups like the NC Chamber of Commerce, NC Farm Bureau, and the Restaurant industries that want to make more money by hiring illegals instead of American workers.

The right thing to do is to vote in the interest of American taxpayers who have been demanding some kind of significant action from you against illegal immigration for many years!

I've worked very hard on this issue since 2004, and most of my time at the NC Legislature has been spent stopping you from passing bills that benefit illegal aliens and their employers like Rep. Harry Warren's HB 328 "licenses for illegals" bill which about 4 of 5 of your American constituents oppose!

Don't you think that after all of these years with North Carolinians crying out for our lawmakers to take some significant step to curtail illegal immigration, that you'd pass at least one significant bill addressing their countless emails and calls?

For years each of you has heard from countless NC citizens asking you to do something to help mitigate problems caused by illegal immigration and now you have a real chance to finally respond to all those requests that have gone virtually ignored for years.

Do your job to protect our jobs! Protect our citizens! Shut down the Sanctuary Cities and the bogus Matricula Consular cards that only illegal aliens need to conduct their business!

Pass HB 318 and send a message far and wide that North Carolina is fighting back against the illegal immigration invasion of our state.
